The only even redeemable idea in it is the concept of a member of the gang having ptsd and trauma related to mysteries. BUT the old phantasaur movie already played with that idea so the only original thing here is it being shere trash.
I’ve said this on other videos and I’m gonna say here the idea of a adult Scooby Doo is a good idea. I will agree they’re like if it’s not this piece of shit then I definitely will watch a reboot more adult Scooby Doo that idea just sounds cool, but this show was not the right choice. It was just an insult to everyone who loves Scooby Doo. I grew up with that show I didn’t even make it through the first three minutes of the show and then I was like fuck this I’m done, this show is terrible and the fact that there are people saying it’s better than the last of us show you have to be kidding mez.
I’d like to correct the record on this. Velma isn’t successful because its being hate watched. Its successful because its the only HBO Max animated series available.
This is actually a strategy that's being used more and more often, and I think it's strange that people aren't catching on. Streaming services are not aiming for good reviews or memorable content anymore, but are betting on high quantity, high velocity views. The best way to get that is by provoking outrage, because it will go trending way faster than any quality content ever could. A platform will usually have one or two poster-child shows that are exclusive to the platform, such as Game of thrones/ house of the dragon for HBO, and a couple of insane dumpster fires to lure people in. It's very much quantity over quality in this day and age, and we as viewers are happily supporting it. The same thing happened with cuties, Netflix made absolute bank on that one.
Pirate it if you want to hate watch so they get no money.
Remember dont hate watch it, all it does is encourage them.

You can't make a Scooby show without Scooby...Plus the character changes, are just, nowhere near the source material.
It’s the biggest premiere because it’s the the premiere on HBO
Do you wanna end them don’t watch

It is not getting hate it is getting honest reviews. It is an ISM, IST Feast/Fest. I don't hate it. It simply SUCKS.
If you're hate watching, you're watching. That shows up just the same in the numbers.
They gave shaggy the pass
I hope this show ruins the career of the main voice actress
