Agree. He hooked up with John Mayall about a year later in Boston. He gets the best ovation of all the musicians. And there were some good ones. Eg. Blue Mitchell.
This playlist has every song recorded at the festival except for two Jimi Hendrix songs (due to Jimi's family prohibiting them). ruclips.net/video/UeD1wDeoz5A/видео.html&ab_channel=zeeisaman1Loder
Da,așa arată tribunele pline cu oameni minunati care asculta muzică veritabila de blues rock psihedelic cu saundul puternic si reverberati de chitare care te trezesc din reverie și te duce la extaz și euforie până la paroxism!!!❤❤
I've got the 40'th Anniversary Collector's Edition 3 or 4 DVD set of Woodstock. Worth checking out if you are a fan of the festival. In addition to performances it has background information. Also includes the Credence performance which John Fogerty initially wouldn't allow in the original film.
Fijaos alrededor hoy. Mucha gente en soledad.(desde Jujuy,Argentina)
I be told by the oldest generation heappis that i most to teach the new generation so beleave me truth and justice but help me to america to teach this new generation ❤ ..
There aren't that many 'heads' left now either and like the song title says from 'Future Blues 'The world's in a tangle'; like Armageddon for instance....?
They would've probably sounded better, it kind of helped to have Harvey Mandel swap in though, because he helped with that "Futuristic Blues" sound they needed for there "Future blues" album to exist. I believe their songs would have sounded a lot better with Henry since it was only Harveys 3rd day with Canned Heat. You can definitely hear how he's trying to play similar to Henry but it doesn't have that heavy loud vintage sound Henry puts out. It's a bit strange sounding because they used the "Future Blues" lead guitarist "Harvey Mandel" to play all the songs from the previous album for a few shows. But soon later released the album, wish they would have done more live shows with him.
¡Viva Canned Heat!!! ✌️😎🇲🇽🇺🇸🇲🇽🇺🇸🇲🇽🇺🇸🕊
This is Fire! Shout out to the med squad swamped with bad trips, bummers and the mentaly unstable. Folks today still have the same mental issues, drug abuse but the country is full of guns with record mass shootings now the norm.
Listening again. Enough credit can not go out to John Morris and Chip Monk. For all the idiots like Barry ObMa. that have received Nobel Peace prizes. These two deserve one.
sounds like the Woodstock Back To The Garden 38CD Box Set that came out in 2019 from Rhino. Now out of print. Awesome box set despite some Hendrix stuff is missing and edited.
I bet 5 bucks no kid now could be better than bigBear singing blues
Canned heat's music speaks to me... Got to see them 2 weeks before I was sent to Vietnam !
Went down a rabbit hole with this era music. That must have been cracy then. This blues music is something

One of the best performances at Woodstock '69
To me Canned Heat was the best at Woodstock.

Two words. Alan Wilson. The audio is more telling than the video. I wish I had it all from Friday afternoon until Monday noon.

Woodstock was and will always be a celebration of the 60s. The rest was political. Even they were amazed. 🌄☕🎶
Great band 🟤

Too many groups in the Rock and Roll Hall that don't deserve to be there. Too many that do deserve it aren't.
Amen!

Woodstock wasn't even a concert.. it was a movement.
The people here would puke if they seen what festivals have become.. corporate.

Don't eat the brown acid, man!

the blind owl is a criminally underrated player. He makes those P90s scream
Imagine if Henry hadn't quit the band two weeks earlier.
I thought the same!

Some of this reminds me of the band called Zephyr, which had Candy Givens and Tommy Bolin.
Don’t forget to boogie
