    Those birds large one small one, vintage, wall hangings, the small are a group of 5 normally, I have only one, crying to find complete pieces. From the 1960's. They will be weighted, the glaze will have a tight crackled finish, I believe!! 💞💞🙃💞💞

    Always fun to see these items in their original boxes. I guess most people throw the boxes away when they buy things but even though I don't have much room where I rent, I always try to keep the original box things come in. Just a long time habit I have. I still have the original box that a small transistor radio came in from the late 1960's. Not a habit my parent's had but just something I just started doing on my own.
    I remember my first memory of going to a thrift shop with my mom when I was about 10 years old ( ha, a long, long time ago). There was a deck of cards in it's original box. I still have those deck of cards and the box they came in too.

    The beautiful floral pitcher with stopper "Springtime" made in Japan...I recently purchased from an antique shop without a stopper. They said it was from the 40's. Great video as always!

    I thought you weren't going to find anything for a bit, and then bam. Once you find one, the rest seem to pop out. I like the glasses. My dad had some that were the same shape, but smooth, no texture. They were beer glasses. The Le Creuset coffee press is so cute. Have great weekend 😊

    Hi Nateesha! I think you’re right, I have a set of dessert cups listed in my EBay store in that same pattern and they are Indiana glass. I collect those glass Christmas trees so I always pick them up too! I have so many that I’m not sure where they will all go this Christmas but I can never pass them up! Nice haul 😊

    Hi! iittala is actually finnish brand and those two look like pair of Timo Sarpaneva "Kekkerit" wine glasses but the bottom part is different. iittalas bottom part is wider. And the other, you showed, looks like from Tapio Wirkkala , "Aslak", but not sure. Best Wishes from Finland 😊 👋

    They started using bar codes and sku numbers in the early 1970s, so that could have been vintage

    Does made in China,mean that it is not vintage? Many resellers won't buy a made in China item. I've always wondered why.

    • @eclecticvintagethrifter
      @eclecticvintagethrifter  Год назад +1

      It could be considered vintage if it’s 20yrs or older. For me it’s usually not old enough. I have picked up some items made in China, it really depends on the quality and what it is.

    • @erinmaxwell8133
      @erinmaxwell8133 Год назад +1

      I've heard if it's the red sticker it's a newer made in china item. But it could be wrong

    Thanks for your videos. My wife and I enjoy them. If I could nit pick, I would humbly ask if you could avoid using the word "modern" when you are referring looking at a contemporary piece. As an enthusiast of mid century modern design, it is a bit confusing misleading.

      @Donna Curry I'm in northern California, and all of the really good prices here finally went away.😢 I used to fill my cart pretty much every trip. I found a Pioneer woman measuring cup set today and they wanted $7 for it. Every aisle people were complaining about prices.
      Plus they're writing on bisque porcelain... And they're using black Sharpie marker on the tags of stuffed animals. How am I supposed to gift something if it has black sharpie marker on it??
      I wrote she's a goodwill in Sacramento.

      @@erinmaxwell8133 yes I’ve seen so many great things ruined with pen/tape Etc. It’s a shame. You would think they would price things lower knowing they would sell more it they did. It should be quantity over price in a thrift store. After all they don’t have a cost of goods 🙄
