Thank you so much for this, I cannot afford lessons or videos, this tutoring to me showing the creation of your beautiful art is priceless!
Beautiful thank you
Thank you ! So helpful

Thank you for sharing!
A very useful demonstration - thank you.
Beautiful thanks
Very useful video. I learned a lot from it. Your voice is calming, too.
This was a great lesson, thank you so much. And I have those colours! Makes my next background even easier.
thank you, so helpful :)
So very useful. Thank you.
Wonderfully informative. What would be a substitute red? Thank you.
CC Hi, glad you like the video. I use Anthraquinoid red from Daniel Smith or Alizarin Crimson from Schmincke.
Do you prefer to do the background first, or paint your subject first?
Always the subject first. I decide always spontaneously about the background
@@Dorisroses That’s my biggest concern. What colors to use or even to put a background in. I'm afraid I'll ruin it if it isn't just right.
If my background doesn’t work or I don’t like it then I paint a dark background. This works always. Otherwise you also can try your background on an extra sheet.
@@Dorisroses Thanks, Doris. I'll try and see how it looks. I can always paint the same subject again.
