Thank you so much!! ❤️ I'm still a beginner in watercolor and I've always wondered why especially the areas I painted with black looked so weird and dirty. The ones I've mixed now had more blueish touch but it looked so much better!!
Excellent! I painted along with the colors I have that are most similar and created some terrific blacks. Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial/explanation! 😊
I do agree 99.9% of the time. However, I love to add a touch of PBk11 - Mars Black or Dan Smith's Lunar Black. It give such an interesting texture to watercolors that the complement cannot. Too much of any black is not a favorite at all. Giving myself permission to actually play with black - and white - has been truly fun! New subbie, by the way! I loved your take on lost and found edges!
Brilliant! Thank you so much. An informative video. I really like the look of a self made black. The color explosion possibilities are exciting. Thrilled you did a video on this topic. Thanks again. Cheers!
Really great way to explain the use of black. Up until recently I didn't own a black and still haven't used it. I replaced it with another colour I liked.i do own a couple of neutral tints.

They don't use black watercolor because they use black watercolour. British voice trying to sell to Americans. Shame on you.
