Nice review. That dongle with the 3.5 jack is also useful for puggining in an external mic so that you can use the headset wirelessly and allow hearhrough with that mic as a feature.

That "mobile recording" is NOT from the headset microphone. You have forgotten to ensure the app is indeed using the external microphone, not the built-in.
That audio is coming from the phones built-in microphone which is why you can also clearly hear room reverb and even you moving your head around changes the sound of the recording.
I'm actually surprised you haven't noticed this yourself when editing the review.
Besides that, really great review!

@@alexivanov7275 I play with 2 guys who have them (a white pair and a black pair not that it matters) and they both sound wretched... don't take my word though. Just watch any unsponsored review on RUclips and you will see the mic sounds like dragging a dead body over gravel...
I just bought these after having gen 2 Astro A50s that have lasted 7 years and my only reason for change being the battery life dwindling after a long time of heavy use, I thought I’d change it up a bit and try a new headset, personally I preferred the sound quality of my A50s but overall I think this is a brilliant headset

I just bought these, along with the Pro X TKL(free pair of G Fits for black Friday), and what a world we live in. It's strange to me how many reviewers mention multiple inputs as a negative. If I try to watch a RUclips video with a Twitch streamer in the background, or just any two sources of noise, it's useless. It's basically a feature that they don't allow you to eliminate your experience by overload. Elevators have solved this long ago. It's nice having noise fill in the spaces, but you're not going to hear anything if you try to listen to two things at once. I have 4 monitors, 2 phones, multiple tablets, a PC and a laptop, I push this stuff. That 3.5mm jack into the Lightspeed dongle will get credit eventually, but parrots parrot each other.
It doesn't have support of Atmos out of the box since it comes with DTS, but what prevents you from buying a separate ATMOS licence and use it with this headset ??
Does the dongle not work with PC? Is it only compatible with playstation and switch? Like I know he said the headphones can connect to PC but is it only the aux cable that allows that?
what are the downsides of using this headset with the 3 mm AUX cord?

Question, when you plug in the Dongle on your PS5 and a 3.5mm device on the 3.5mm port at the same time, would it output the same audio to the headset AND the 3.5mm port? So for an example, can you have a wireless and wired headset with same audio at the same time?
No unfortunately not, this was one of the negatives I hightlighted in the review.

I have an issue with this headset when im in discord or ts my friends can hear every sound twice. Because the mic is recording the sound what comes out of the headset. I tried everything in g hub but nothing works. Has someone the same issue ? If anyone have an solution for this problem pls help me.

For people who have this headset and want to make the mic sound better: Turn Blue Voice off, and start playing with the mic level until it sounds loud enough, but not harsh, then turn ON Blue voice and start playing around with the settings. U can really make the terrible boom mic on this headset sound so much better with the software.
Hi, i am having an issue where i cant see any surround sound or blue voice settings in g hub software. tried reinstall and older version but the issue remains firm. If any1 here could help. i emailed Logitech and they said that everything is disabled for now and they wil enable it again on next software update. Any help would be appreciated

Can I connect a 3.5 jack via a USB dongle, and connect the other one to the sound card and then connect the USB to the PC. And the question is, will all this work for me? This is done so that I do not sit with a wire to the sound card, but sit without wires, but with the possibility of using a sound card (tautology). Thanks for the answer!

Unfortunate, I was looking to replace my Logitech G935 as it is getting old. Does anyone know any good headsets that can have audio simultaneously from PC and PS5 (3.5mm jack)? Thats the reason why I used the G935 because of that function

@javlin8506 I actually got a replacement from Logitech and had the same issue so I just sold it and got the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro and am happy with it.

heres a tip for your consoles, centre them in the holes they are in as you are currently throttling their air intake ports. they will over heat. PRO X 2.

How much of a difference is it over the 1st gen pro x? Worth the upgrade for PC gamers?
For me the additional connectivity options is a big bonus so if they die while gaming you can just flip over to a 3.5mm connection Sound quality is just as good with it being slightly more enhanced with the new drivers.
Excellent audio but...the mic is mid at best...a cheaper hyperx floors the logitech regarding mic quality

I my self have bought them just recently for my Xbox and figured out that they only work and connect to my Xbox through the wired connection if the headset is turned off, causing me to not be able to mute or use the volume dial on the headset. Just wondering if anyone has a work around since I really like them and don’t want to return them the day after purchase. Desperate for an answer.

Just the ear cups worn, the leatherette material was coming away in area so I just replaced with the spare pair from the packaging

I think I am done buying headsets/headphones. They all suffer the same fate with the ear cups peeling. It doesn't seem to matter if they are $50 or $500. Over the years I've had the Astro A50, Bose 700, Sony 1000X M3, Sony Pulse 3D (just to name a few) and they all end up peeling. I can't be the only one experiencing this.
Its the leatherette finish that goes on all these but I guess the advantage of this one is you get replacement earcups in a material finish.

My A50 lasted for 10 YEARS , no peeling at all.....just battery died. Dont get some with leather , they will peel over time ofc bc its synthetic.

No matter how good it sounds etc... The mic sucks. blue voice sucks, g hub blue voice downloads suck and cant apply. Blue voice is the DLSS for gaming headset mics. Returned.

The sound quality was SO atrocious, I sent mine back today. Put on a budget €50 Logitech headset and tell me you don't hear the difference??? Flagship model lmfao, a disgrace.

Hearing a difference is pretty easy no matter the brand I tried but I use Maxwell headset though I tried meny different headsets I can tell difference between cheap and expensive but I can say any headset would be cheaper if you hade the option to buy with out the mic

for the price you get the sound quality of a $30 headset. Do not buy this garbage. get good headphones and a dedicated mic. DT 990 pro is what I suggest sounds even better if you have a soundcard.
