it seems like there's been a bit of confusion about the Google pixel 6A and the charging protocols that it will accept. so I wanted to go ahead and make a video just briefly explaining all of the different things that you might want to know about charging the Google pixel 6A fast charging the Google pixel 6A and what chargers you might want to purchase for your Google pixel 6a. essentially if you are familiar with the Google pixel 5 or any of the prior generation Google pixel devices, the Google pixel 6A is identical. when Google launched the pixel 6A they did not change any of the charging spec of the pixel 6A like they did with the Google pixel 6.

Yep, if it's a USB-C PD compatible power bank you'll get identical performance. I'm starting to think that even after six and a half months the wear of my pixel 6 battery life is really quite minimal since the battery life on it is just as good if not better than it was on date that I bought it

Which charger should I use for pixel 6a Someone told me that chargers like 20W actually does not charge 6A with 18W, like Output: 5V = 3A means it will charge 15W and 9V = 2.22A 20W, my mind has been blown up because of thinking this. Should I keep in mind PPS fast charging or can you tell me the actual charger for it?
You should buy this exact charger that I reviewed in this video or the closest thing to it. If you get a 30 watt PPS charger, you will charge your phone at the maximum rate possible because PPS allows the amount of electricity to be varied depending upon what the phone asks for and it will charge the fastest possible rate that the phone thermally allows it to. I have done quite a bit of research and I can tell you that a 30 watt PPS charger should be your only choice because if you want to upgrade in the future to either a Samsung or even another pixel device, you will have the ability to take advantage of the extra wattage. Besides, the difference between a 20 watt and a 30 watt charger is a couple of dollars and it's much better spent buying the higher quality longer lasting products so that you don't need to consider buying another one in the future ruclips.net/video/D8O5NUU1CsQ/видео.html

The fastest charging speed is only 18 watts, it will not go faster whether if you have 25,30,65 or even 100 watts but power delivery 3.0 with PPS at least 65 watts(atleast PPS with 4 or 5amp,3amp works only 25 watts in samsung device) is future proof because I can charge my laptop, tablets, gaming console with Samsung devices

Does pps make a difference? I found a charger with 30w and pd pps support. I found another one without pps at 20w and cheaper. Should I go for the pps one or cheaper one? I'm not planning to make an upgrade to a new phone for atleast 2 years now so pixel is the only phone rn. If pps does make a difference on improving battery health, I would go for it

Using an 18 watt power delivery driver is not that bad
You need to understand most phones that have 65 120 watt charging speed are essentially destroying the life of their battery.
I suppose 30-33 watt charging is the sweet spot for optimum charging. But Google wants his device to last 5 years. Since they promise to give 5 year security updates. Probably same thinking with Apple phones

Yes you can and no impact on battery
The cable and adaptor that comes with the 6a is useless. There is no charger in the box and the smaller USB doesn't plug into anything other than the phone as it's male both ends. (Unless Laptops and wall charging sockets now have C USB sockets??)
The adaptor converts it to from Male C USB to Female A USB which means you have to find a double ended male A USB cable to be able to plug it into your wall charger or laptop or you have to buy a charger separately.
Never had this problem or complication with any other phones, normally you have Mini USB or C to A cable which connects into the charger, wall charger or laptop...simple.
Actually that adapter is for connecting it to a phone that doesn't use a usb c connector

How do you turn off rapid charging? Phone gets very hot charging and i dont want it rapid charging just regular charging for longer battery health
Just use a slower charger can't turn it off but the phone won't go over 100f

Can I use my OnePlus 9 charger on this phone? Just bought Pixel 6a just because I got these visible vertical green lines on my OnePlus 9 only 2years after purchase, it sucks! I'm now sceptical on purchasing OnePlus stuff because of that and will just probably invest for Iphones in the future.. really disappointed with OnePlus right now.
If the charger supports power delivery then yes. I'm not sure about 1+ chargers tbh.

6a is a nice budget phone I use for work or socials.the lack of 5g and dual sim is only the downside

the charger will only deliver a max of 18w because 18w is the max the phone charge.
Pixels will only accept up to 18 watts from power delivery. I don't believe Xiaomi phones use power. Delivery ends quick charge only
Total POS phone in my experience and most experience I've read online. Drops connection to the cellular network often once a day requiring a reset. This is literally 100s of common reviews I've read from actual people who spend hard earned money. Not fake Internet salesmen paid to promote a product while ignoring it's flaws.
Far, far slower in speed on apps like door dash Uber eats and games than my pixel 4a. Very nearly got me fired from food app jobs. Absolutely pathetic how common these modern planned obsolescence scams are getting.

@@MitchellMillennial drops connection to network non-stop. Nearly got me fired from door dash and Uber many times. Also way way slower than the Google 4A both in games and apps. It has a good camera for sure, but that's about it. If you need a good camera and nothing else including a reliable internet and cell phone connection then it's great.
