Keep your Gorman-Rupp pump in top shape! Remember to disassemble the bearing housing ONLY if it is worn or damaged.
The Pump People Pro Tip: When removing the shaft and bearings from the bearing housing, inspect the shaft for damage. Check the bearings for smooth rotation and excessive axial or radial play. This is also a good time to examine the bearing bores and lip seals in the bearing housing.
