I recently bought your roll crimper. Tried several other models, yours was best by far

    Keep up the great work!
All it needs is a 3D printed primer catcher!

This is a great idea! The only thing I see an improvement on would be to make a hole in the center so that the primers went down the hollow ram and out the bottom vs off the side.

That was originally my intention, but there isn't enough room in most of them, and it was leading to jams even in the ones that did have sufficient clearance.

Have you considered making it a flimsy collet and pin arrangement, so that we can have the joy of losing and replacing decapping pins that is offered by fine companies like RCBS?

Heh heh, I can't say that I have, but maybe I'll make you a 'special' one, GFZS. I went with the largest diameter I could that would still fit a .410 hull, although obviously it does taper further at the very end to fit the primer pocket. I also opted for hardened tool steel for the pin; it costs more, but it should make it much more durable.

Weird question; as someone who's never reloaded shotgun shells, would it be possible to cut them down to something similar to Aguila mini-shells? Have you ever tried this?

Is there enough room in the press to fit the resizing die on the underside of the upper part of the press as well as have the pin come through the center so that you can resize and punch the primer in one press operation?

Unfortunately, no. I looked at numerous ways to design this with an eye on making it compatible with as many press types as possible, at the lowest price possible, and what you're describing would require either a second die, or more accessories. It's a good idea, but there are a lot of design restrictions with these presses.
