    Thank you.
    If you do make a .410 ga one in the future, most of your new customers will probably be ATI owners looking to get that magic length into a AR-15 type magazine.
    Not all .410 shells are folded or rolled to the right length. Federal # 9 shot shells are the only ones I have found so far, that work right out of the box. The price of .410 shells now, would make reloading .410 vary attractive. Same thing with 10,16,28 ga. shells.

      I sympathize with you on the absurd price of ammo; but as I don't own anything in 10, 16, 28g or 410, it would mean I'd need to purchase a firearm, reloading equipment and components in each just for testing, and that's before the actual tool production costs. It's just not feasible for a small-scale manufacturer such as myself.

    i am looking to buy a full kit from you in order to make my own mini shells.
    could you tell me if it is possible to make the wad entirely DIY?
    i got the powder, primer, lead and shells. but i do not have mini wads.
    there is NO stores around me that sell anything reload-related.
    i saw that you are selling a "full size" wad cutting tool.
    it would take care of the bottom portion of the load, but what about the sides? is it possible to shoot lead and stuff bare in the barrel?

    • @TATVCanada
      @TATVCanada  Год назад

      Yes you can use the full size punch for this purpose. What you'll get is a flat wad similar to a nitro card. This is basically what was done until the invention of the resin waddings used now.

    Looks great! Can you still trim and reload a 3 inch shell?

    • @TATVCanada
      @TATVCanada  Год назад

      Yes indeed. If you're just trimming the hull mouth due to it starting to split, you can usually remove as little as a 1/4" and be fine. It depends heavily on the type of hull of course, but the most important part will always be the actual base wad. As long as that's solid with no signs of separation, you can reload the same hull many times safely.

      @@TATVCanada I was thinking maybe like a big 8inch round that had say like 12 holes in for the hulls. the round has been cut to the length of the desired finished hull and then you could spin 12 hulls at once and then introduce a single bevel knife/chisel to trim off the waste

    • @TATVCanada

      I'm not sure they'd have the resistance on their own. I feel like you'd need something inside, like a dowel or the like, to give it rigidity.
