  • By integrating personal and professional experience, Mr. Alireza Jafarzadeh argues that the key to the success of the freedom movement in Iran, which would have a global impact, is the leadership role of women who have paid the price for freedom in Iran. Mr. Alireza Jafarzadeh, a well-known author, Middle East commentator, and a prominent Iranian dissident figure, is known for revealing the major nuclear sites of Iran.
    Mr. Jafarzadeh is the author of The Iran Threat and is an accomplished analyst, frequently appearing on major television and radio broadcasts, writing for or being quoted in acclaimed news outlets such as Washington Post, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, and Reuters, and speaking in various forums, including on Capitol Hill and major universities across the United States.
    Mr. Jafarzadeh has advocated for democracy, women’s rights, and human rights. He is the Deputy Director of the US Representative Office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI-US), which has gained bi-partisan majority support in U.S. Congress as well as thousands of parliamentarians around the globe. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

    Mr. Jafarzadeh succinctly highlights a crucial truth: the Iranian people’s resistance is spearheaded by women. These resilient individuals, doubly repressed, serve as the driving force for change in Iran. Consequently, protest chants both within Iran and abroad now echo the powerful trio: ‘woman, resistance, freedom.’ 👏 ✌️ 🌟❤

    Thank you, Alireza for this inspiring and powerful message of the Iranian Resistance. It is notably important your highlighting of the leadership of women in the movement specially when presented and emphasized by men like yourself. Women, who despite facing severe and compounded oppression and violence enforced by the regime, continue to lead, and inspire the movement for change. Truly, their bravery and resilience are remarkable and inspiring to all of us. And their efforts not only aim to transform their own lives but also to create a more just and equitable society for all Iranians as well as delivering the much-needed peace throughout the region.
    Alireza Jafarzadeh’s emphasis on international support and solidarity is crucial. It is heartwarming and encouraging to know that the freedom lovers of the world do in fact support the Iranian women and men and do stand by them in their struggle to achieve freedom from the mullahs’ despotic rule.

Oftentimes, men are left out of this equation or simply blamed so it’s refreshing to hear this perspective. As the leader of the resistance movement of Iran, Ms.Maryam Rajavi said,"How does the decisive role of women guarantee democracy?
    The democratic capacities in any government or alternative force may be viewed by women's active and equal participation in political leadership. Otherwise, limitations and obstacles that deny women their rightful political place will not only prevent women’s democratic rights but also work to damage the very foundations of democracy itself."

    • @doorodmardomehiran
      @doorodmardomehiran Месяц назад

      I can attest from my own experience as Iranian American man with the Iranian women that the active participation of women in leadership and the solutions they offer turn men into a force of change as well. This notion presents a disconnect from the mindset that arises from the world of exploitation. Men, who have become alienated from their true human essence due to the male-dominated culture, rediscover their human potential. This transformation, which should be regarded as a true awakening and a real cultural transformation, is the trigger for the eruption of hidden energies.
