Honestly it's not their fault, this is just today's teachings (if that makes sense). Everything revolves around the world while leaving out the wilderness. Thank you for your tips. We have always camped light - a small 2 person dome tent and just take a mattress and bedding, couple of bowls and cutlery to eat with. No cooking stuff or table and chairs. Now semi-retired with more time to go on longer camping trips, yesterday we bought a larger tent with a separate living area - we won't know ourselves :). We are off next week for a two week trip to the coast. Thank you for the tip of the dust pan and brush. I will definately need this with the sandy beach. Foam tiles, and the extra tarp inside the tent are definite game changers. The tiles are so much softer than rocks, and, the extra tarp makes for a quick cleanup. The other ideas you both have, dealing with meal prep are super awesome. Making eggs and putting them in water bottles makes so much sense! I'm a very experienced car camper. I always enjoy seeing ideas that I may not have thought of. I will soon be taking young grandchildren camping for their first time. I love the glow-stick-on-the-door-zipper idea! In cold weather, I place a wool Army blanket on the tent floor. I keep a small whisk broom in the trunk of my small car. I truly enjoy my "real" car camping road trips, all over this country. Thanks.

I use an inexpensive Home Depot indoor/outdoor rug ($20) for my 4P+ tents. In my 2P, I use a padded picnic blanket. I also like having an outdoor doormat and a small stool right outside the tent opening to take off/put on my shoes.

My best camping tip? Don’t waste any precious space in your beer/coolbox with those plastic iceblocks! But my pancake mixture bottles are by far my favourite hack! Everyone loves pancakes around the campfire 🔥
If you have a car that you’re driving to a campsite you’re more than good taking way more than this stuff man. Its honestly not even much in this video 🤷🏻♂️😂 But if you’re not car camping and are looking for a backpacking style video this one obviously ain’t it. 😁🤙🏽
My husband and I are retired and we used to camp when we were first dating, but haven’t camped in decades now. Yesterday, we bought a White Duck Avalon tent and camping stove. Guess who’s videos we’re watching today.? You guys are just so cute and you have Great tips….I’ve written them all down. Incidentally, we also used to be gamers back in the day too…bought a PS5 not so long ago….and again, it’s the kids that are teaching us. It can be stressful sometimes to like set up your camp and the packing and stuff but the best advice I can think of over all of this stuff is just remember it’s supposed to be fun! 😊🤙🏽
Great tips! Surprisingly I figured out some of these on my own. I've been putting the floor tiles down for a while now. The ones i use are 2 ft by 2ft. My tent is 10ft square so I use 25 of them. I like to put them between my ground tarp and the tent floor. Makes a huge difference on my bare feet and when kneeling. I am usually setting up camp close to my vehicle, so i don't mind the extra equipment/bulk.
Thanks! And nice that’s awesome! 😃🤙🏽 There are so many different ways you can go about it all which makes it super fun. 😊 We actually really only have to cover a small portion of our tent with tiles cause of our sleeping pads or air mattress. Just the left over space you have to walk on or kneel on or whatever, so we don’t have to take too too many when we use them. Oh yeah haha car camping is always nice because it allows you to bring so much more stuff that you can experiment with, haha even if you don’t end up needing it. 😁🤙🏽 Backpacking you really have to have it all stripped down to a science and travel as light as you can obviously, which can be challenging but that can also make things fun and interesting as well. 😎 Thanks for the comment! 😃
I used to only use tiles beside my tent and not under it. But recently I camped and it got down to about 40. I was glad to have the extra foam insulating the mattress from the ground. And when the mattress deflated the foam tiles were a back up. That’s why I now tile the entire floor. And the 24” ones are great too bc you cut down in half the work you do putting them down.
Instead of the hardship of fitting all those tiles together, I use an RV outdoor rug between the ground tarp and tent. Works great! I read the comments of using moving blankets inside, sounds like something worth trying next.
Nice! Yeah we only use the tiles for the open floor space infront of our air mattress when we go that route. Moving blankets are definitely worth trying, yoga mats aren’t bad cover space quickly as well. You can use a million different things 😁🤙🏽
Just slept in a tent we've had for years last night with one of our dogs to acclimatize him to tent camping with my safety net being set up outside our camper. It worked out well, however the tarps and the tent storing tip I certainly could've done it better. Will be in a colder climate with the dog the next time I do this around 35F probably in a campground so I may incorporate a portable electric heater also. I just used a surge strip for my electrical needs off a 110 extension cord. It was a test run with a safety net, reasonably successful, and looking to improve my setup!
Nice 😊🤙🏽 Was going to say be safe with those camping heaters as they put off some carbon monoxide but I was thinking of the gas ones 😁 That’s pretty sweet to have electricity out there!
Thanks 👊🏽😃 They work pretty well! You can always cut them down to size also so you don’t have to bring along a bunch of full sized ones! As long as it’s on the bottom of the line it makes it way easier to see. 😊🤙🏽
Try using a glow necklace or bracelet for your zipper pulls on the tent door to make it easier to find them at night and you can use them as the zipper pull. You can usually get a can with a bunch of them which is good bc Each one lasts only 1 Night.
I heard of the foam puzzle flooring method, great idea. All others were essential good ones too.. learned from you guys to keep a venting system so condensation won't build on walls inside, great point! But also it is a good idea to dig a drain trench all around the tent outside border of your tent(dig a drain away one at corners) and try to set up between two sturdy trees to run a rope and set up a tarp above the the whole tent jic a wet storm comes in at night.. You'll won't regret it during the day setting up even on blue skies.. " no such thing as bad weather, it's bad gear "
Love the dust pan and pool noodle suggestions. I'll definitly be adding those to my car camping lists. Instead of the foam mats I like to use moving blankets, its not quite as soft but its a lot easier to set up! 😁
Tent carpets are brilliant. If it’s colder I usually use the tent carpet in the sleeping area. I use those foam clip mats too at the door of my tent it also helps to keep the bathtub groundsheet in place.
I used the box method of leaving my shoes outside at a Kern River trip and the next day...If I didn't look into my left hiking boot, I wouldn't have seen that massive spider! DAMN! Dodged one :) Bring a closable tupper ware for your water socks/shoes etc.
Haha sheesh yeah always gotta give those shoes a few upside down smacks in the morning just to make sure! 😁🤙🏽 Tupperware might not let the shoes dry if they’re wet but definitely will keep stuff out of them.
@@WhereWeWild that’s true about not drying the shoes out for sure. Anyhow, great video and great channel my man! I hope your channel grows and prospers! I’m definitely subbing :)
It’s tricky cause like you bring them in and they could bring smell, dirt, or humidity into the tent, you leave em out you gotta check em for critters haha it’s kinda just like pick your poison. 😁 And thanks man! 👊🏽 Really appreciate it! Hope you enjoy the channel. ☺️🤙🏽
Pool noodles very good idea, we have a big tent with a porch. I hang lights on the porch cover. We also have a blow up mattress and a solar light you can carry to potty. We bring a heater or a fan based on weather.
@@WhereWeWild you have no idea how many times I have tripped over the cords from the tent. 😁We also are thinking about selling our boat and getting a small camper or a pop up.
Thrift store, goodwill or yard sales........ get one of those big rolling suitcases. I put my air mattress, bedding, pillows, pop up lanterns and small battery operated fans in it. All my "bedding" gear is in one place when I grab and go. Also....old tool box can be used for your "kitchen". My small camp stove, small coffee pot, silverware, plates, cups and small pots and pans fit in it and easy to carry.😊
Been years since we tent camped but we would use good size cardboard under the tent to give comfort against rocks. Cardboard is also an insulator. We took off shoes but would store in the tent.
Some decent tips for beginners. Good job. Folding your tent into thirds obviously only works for particular tents. Just look at the length of your tent bag to figure out how many times to fold the tent before rolling it. Also roll it as tightly as you can, because this makes it much easier to fit back into the bag. For those who don't want to lay a tarp and then a tent and then another tarp and then some rubber tiles... I sometimes just put a cheap rubber-backed picnic rug inside the tent. This gives a little extra insulation from the ground and it's sort of like having the comfort of a carpeted floor. It's also still easy to clean.
Hahaha man it’s such a shame everyone thinks we were saying to use the tarp and the tiles at the same time inside the tent because we simply didn’t remove the tarp before we showed the next flooring option. Ruined this whole video. That’s all people hang up on. 😂
@@dawnrichardson8230 Hahaha that’s funny in our one video I think it was Reyes Creek Campground we used one of those inflatable couches just sitting by a river it was hilarious 😂 Don’t know if we’d try it by the fire though just cause of the heat and sparks flying off it might be the end of an inflatable but haven’t tried 😁
great tips and important too! we found bringing a 'dust-buster' type cordless vacuum helps with dirt AND flying or crawling pests that find their way in!
Sweeping a tent floor will often build static electricity. Now, the floor is attracting and holding the dirt. Instead, use a dampened sponge to wipe the floor clean. Lighter, cheaper, and more effective. Then, rinse the sponge and squeeze it. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
Everything you just said...plus Rake the spot before you put down the first tarp to remove debris. And I personally prefer larger foam tiles and I add a moving blanket on top. Then I can bundle up the blanket, take it outside and shake it clean.
Yeah the bigger the tiles you can find the better for sure! Can even use yoga mats instead to cover larger sections at a time. And nice the moving blanket is a great idea 😊🤙🏽
If you buy a new tent, set it up at home to familiarize yourself with set-up before you get to your camp site and confirm that it contains all the poles, stakes and lines that it is supposed to. The fabric of your tent is treated to be waterproof before the fabric is cut and sewn to make your tent. The seams of the tent FLY are usually sealed by the manufacturer with a sealing tape or chemical sealant. However, all the rest of the sewn seam of your tent are not water sealed (except very few very expensive tents) and will probably leak during a heavy rain and wind storm. Buy a separate "tent seam sealing kit", compatible with your tents fabric type, and spend a half hour sealing all seams when you do the first set up in your back yard.
I never thought about putting a tarp on the inside of my tent. Love that idea. Also, putting the foam tiles is a very smart idea. Seems it would make the floor of your tent much softer. TYSM for that idea, too. One I don't recommend, however, is the axing of your zippers. I've tried that before, and, it only caused my tent zipper to eventually get permanently stuck in place - open ! (LOL ! GO FIGURE ! DK WHAT happened, there ! 🤔) But, the pool thingys are a great idea as are the glow sticks. Just wish they made the glow sticks where they would NEVER lose their "glowing" capability. TYSM for sharing this video with us - very informative and useful info. 😻
Thanks for the nice comment, thanks for watching 😊 The floor you can use so many different things… tarps, yoga mats, tiles, moving blankets. You don’t have to use them all at once though 😂 The wax is kind of a last resort thing if it’s really bad. I wonder if it was so hot out that it melted yours and then got solid again and got stuck 🤔 And haha yeah I wish glow sticks did that too but I think you can buy battery powered ones 😎🤙🏽
Just re-read my comment above. It was supposed to be "waxing" not "axing." 👎autocorrect 👎 Guess you figured that out, though. 😻 Thank you for the suggestion as to why that didn't work for me. Being "so hot out" sounds as if it was likely the reason. 😻
Great tips! I have thought about trying the foam squares, and wondered if anyone else had done so. When I started tent camping on my own, eons ago, I had a small tent, and used an old shower curtain under it. I have a bigger tent, now, and use a tarp. I like the idea of putting one inside, too. I cringed at the idea of leaving shoes outside, though - bugs! We always have a small rug just inside the door where we take off our shoes and leave them.
Thanks 😊 There are so many different options and variations of all this stuff. The tiles are cool, but we only really use those for a small section of the tent that’s not covered by our air mattress so we don’t have to travel with that many of them. Moving blankets work well, yoga mats, tarps of course… you can get super creative! Lol so many people misinterpret this video to mean use 25 different flooring types at a time. Just cause of how we shot it I guess. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😁 Haha the shoe basket outside works in some environments and is not so smart in others, but also depends on the shoes right? Crocs, Sandals, water shoes, stuff like that which can be nice to wear around camp to be more comfortable, you really don’t have to worry about as much cause you can pretty much see everything inside of them compared to say big hiking boots. Thanks for watching and for the nice comment we appreciate it. 😊🤙🏽
Totally! 😊🤙🏽 For us it just depends on the situation and environment ya know, if the shoes are all wet or gross we don’t like bringing any extra moisture into the tent. Depends on what creatures live in that area too, haha like if you’re in Australia or something like that, definitely might have a problem leaving them outside 😬😂 Thanks for the comment! Appreciate you watching! ☺️
@@WhereWeWild here in australia, its not really a huge problem compared to the drop bears... but yeah, we bring them into the tent. Small tents, we do north/ south. North is your head, south is door and feet. Anything messy or dirty stays south, and clean or unworn things go north. ... so boots come off, and stay inside door ;)
@@WhereWeWild they arent that bad so long as youve eaten vegimite daily for 5 weeks beforehand.. or just put some behind each ear before you head out ;)
Thanks I haven't camped in over a decade but just picked up a polyester tent in very good shape for only ten dollars. I set it up,aired it out well then waterproof sprayed it just in case. No lines to trip over and the poles are outside the tent so no need to crawl around inside like a blind baboon setting up poles.😁 You gave very good tips especially using a couple of cheap tarps to save the tent and make it comfortable. A question though. Do you have any tips on what to do if you don't have poles to hang a light or fan from?
Nice thanks glad you enjoyed them! 😊 Hmm I guess if there are no loops at the top of the tent to hang anything from you’d either have to fabricate something or put your lattern and or fan on the floor 🤔
I used to have small Coleman fans that had a strong magnet. You’d put the magnet outside the tent and the fan body, with a steel plate bottom inside and they’d connect and hold tight. I haven’t used them in years but I believe that I have seen something like that recently somewhere….
We use those heavier mylar tarps. One to cover the floor, and one on top of our sleeping bags with a blanket over it when it is really cold. We have always been warm and dry. First time we tried this, we woke up with condensation all over the top tarp from our body heat hitting the cold tarp. Covering the tarp with a light blanket kept us dry.
Awesome 😎🤙🏽 Condensation is a killer!!!! Even simply burying yourself and breathing into your sleeping bag can make you damp and cold! Waking up cold and wet is the absolute worst!!!
Don't leave it out in the UK either..... they'll be full of rainwater. So multiple tarps, foam floor tiles, pool noodles etc., I'm going out on a limb here and guessing you aren't backpacking?
Now why didn’t I tink of that lol I have tripped bout hundreds of times on the tie downs. Our zipper is starting to stick so definitely gana use the wax thing We came up with synthetic piece of grass helps keep it clean 🤔 Moe show me moe!!!!!
0:26 Yes, I always do this it also keeps the floor of the tent clean if you are in a place that has a dirt tent pad. 1:29 Yes! I don't know how many times I had to tell the kids to zip the door closed when they were younger. 1:59 Meh, my tent has huge screened panels in the ceiling so we kind of have a window open all the time anyway. 2:21 Since I used to be a back packer and kind of have a minimalist attitude, I will not be packing these rubber tiles in the Jeep 2:56 Yep, I do this too, I have just done this to my Jeep soft top. 3:03 Hmm ... IDK, does that attract bugs to the door? 3:10 You bet, I don't like putting away a dirty tent, I always do this. 3:17 Not all tents are created equal, Outbound Quick Camp Cabin Tent does not detach from the poles, see our review on my channel. Everyone loves pancakes around the campfire 🔥
Extra tip if you are packing up your tent use colored hair ties to help organize the poles it helped us a few days ago to put up our tent
Nice 👊🏽😃🤙🏽
Some of these "tricks" seem to be for back yard camping. A lot of stuff to have to pack in and back out.
If you have a car that you’re driving to a campsite you’re more than good taking way more than this stuff man. Its honestly not even much in this video 🤷🏻♂️😂 But if you’re not car camping and are looking for a backpacking style video this one obviously ain’t it. 😁🤙🏽
Going camping this weekend and I’m borrowing two of your ideas. :-) Great video. Simple, concise and informative.
Sweet! 😃 Have fun! And thanks! Glad you got a couple ideas out of it 😊
I use some fluorescent flagging tape for the tent lines, much cheaper than pool noodles.
Nice that’s a good idea too! 👍🏽😊 But just so you know we got these pool noodles at the old 99 cent store! 😎😃🤙🏽
Yes, you may have to leave some of the things you love along the way, but when you retire, you get them back and the world is your playground. Thank you for all the great tips!
Ahhhh that’s awesome!!!! 😃😃😃 And thanks so much you’re so sweet! ☺️ Really flattered you are enjoying our videos, hope they help and hope you have so much fun when you go! It can be stressful sometimes to like set up your camp and the packing and stuff but the best advice I can think of over all of this stuff is just remember it’s supposed to be fun! 😊🤙🏽
The pool noodle hack on the tent lines may have saved me from a few trips and falls lmao😂 Great video!!
Hahaha it works 🤷🏻♂️😂 Thanks 👊🏽☺️
The pool noodles idea is such a great idea!
Yeah they work pretty well! 😊🤙🏽
Pool noodles !! Cool idea
Thanks 👊🏽😃 They work pretty well! You can always cut them down to size also so you don’t have to bring along a bunch of full sized ones! As long as it’s on the bottom of the line it makes it way easier to see. 😊🤙🏽
I am a blind person, and I have always done the rolling with the tent poles method.😊
Definitely the best way to do it! 😊
Yes, I’m disabled too, and I really like your tent rolling idea. Less work, better results. :)
Like the tip of also putting a tarp inside the tent.
Cool we like that one too 👊🏽😊
I use large outdoor mats for Inside the tent. They are great for protection and a little cushioning.
Sweet 😊🤙🏽
Try using a glow necklace or bracelet for your zipper pulls on the tent door to make it easier to find them at night and you can use them as the zipper pull. You can usually get a can with a bunch of them which is good bc
Each one lasts only 1
Night.
Yes sir! Any type of glow stick works great! 😃🤙🏽
Awesome! Thanks for watching and thanks for the nice comment! 👊🏽😃
Love the dust pan and pool noodle suggestions. I'll definitly be adding those to my car camping lists. Instead of the foam mats I like to use moving blankets, its not quite as soft but its a lot easier to set up! 😁
Sweet thanks for the nice comment! 😊 Yoga Mats work well for that too!
Tent carpets are brilliant. If it’s colder I usually use the tent carpet in the sleeping area. I use those foam clip mats too at the door of my tent it also helps to keep the bathtub groundsheet in place.
Right on 😊🤙🏽
The ending was spot on.
Lol thanks 👊🏽😁 I thought it was fitting 😂
@@WhereWeWild Definitely enjoying your channel and will spread the word to all my camping and outdoor enthusiast friends! Bye for now, enjoy!
Wow really great tips 😄
Can't wait to put them into good use 😊👍
Thanks hope they help ya! 😃
@@WhereWeWild 😊 not just me but many others I'm sure 👍 thanks
The candle wax idea on the zippers is great!
It’s good in a pinch for sure! 😊🤙🏽
Pool noodles very good idea, we have a big tent with a porch. I hang lights on the porch cover. We also have a blow up mattress and a solar light you can carry to potty. We bring a heater or a fan based on weather.
Thanks 😊 And nice that’s awesome sounds like you have a really nice set up! 😃
@@WhereWeWild you have no idea how many times I have tripped over the cords from the tent. 😁We also are thinking about selling our boat and getting a small camper or a pop up.
I always forget to pack enough food.
@@elizabethrose3667 Hahaha oh really that’s funny because our next video is going to be about 5 easy camping meals! 👍🏽😃
@@WhereWeWild my husband just wants me to never forget bacon.
Wow, this is actually INSANELY helpful!!!!
Good glad to hear it! 😊🤙🏽
From South Africa guy ropes are great security multipliers... you know when somebody's prowling around
Nice 😊🤙🏽
The tent pole/ rolling tip!!! 😲 Makes so much sense! 😀
Hahaha gets it done 😊🤙🏽
Been years since we tent camped but we would use good size cardboard under the tent to give comfort against rocks. Cardboard is also an insulator. We took off shoes but would store in the tent.
Pool noodles. Pure genius!
Thanks! 😃🤙🏽 Haha they work 🤷🏻♂️😊
Some decent tips for beginners.
Good tips, bring a tarp, padded floor, fan, and even hanging an bug zapper is helpful. Keep up the great work!
Thanks! 👊🏽😊 Never thought about bringing a bug zapper, lol I wonder if it would just be like constant nonstop zaps out there ⚡️😂
Thanks guys. Really appreciate the tips
No problem 👊🏽😃
That dust pan is such a good idea
Oh man must have! 😃 Simple but effective 🤷🏻♂️😊🤙🏽
@@WhereWeWild Have you seen the inflatable furniture? It looks so much easier than my clunky chairs that take up so much room in my car
@@WhereWeWild I went camping at cattail Cove near Lake Havasu and I brought my dust pan but I forgot my sage it was so beautiful! Thanks for the tips
@@dawnrichardson8230 Awesome! Hope you had a blast! 😃
That's the first thing I do to my tents is treat the zippers with an old candle. Works great on Jeep softtops, too!
Haha nice! 😃🤙🏽
great tips and important too! we found bringing a 'dust-buster' type cordless vacuum helps with dirt AND flying or crawling pests that find their way in!

I add cheating moving blankets to the floor of my tent and they are great!
Nice! Yeah the moving blankets are sweet 😊🤙🏽
All solid advice!
Glad you enjoyed it! 👊🏽😊
Man, you guys pack a lot of stuff!
Hahaha depends where we are going, but usually not so bad really 🤷🏻♂️😃 3 bins. Sleeping. Kitchen. And one for miscellaneous stuff. Plus the cooler.
Great stuff!! Some new to me after camping 30+ years!! Thank you!!!
Thanks! Glad you found it useful! 😃🤙🏽
Sweeping a tent floor will often build static electricity. Now, the floor is attracting and holding the dirt. Instead, use a dampened sponge to wipe the floor clean. Lighter, cheaper, and more effective. Then, rinse the sponge and squeeze it.

Whatever works for ya man 🤙🏽
amazing as a new camper to be 😊everything I was trying to ask you guys, get the answer from different video you posted. Thank you so much.

So helpful to me! Thanks. Go tenting!

Number 9: Wax Candle for zippers is AMAZING!
Works well in a pinch! 😃🤙🏽
I learned a few new things!🙂
Great that’s awesome! 😃 Thanks for watching! ☺️
Nice 😎🤙🏽
This is amazing, thank you guys.
No problem! Happy you enjoyed it! ☺️🤙🏽
Those foam tiles are a top idea
Haha thanks yeah they work pretty well! 😃🤙🏽
Pour some concrete on the ground, add two layers of tarp and a hardwood floor, then another layer of tarp and a few blankets.
Ahhhh you’re late! Someone already beat you to that comment brotha sorry haha 🤷🏻♂️😁
Great tips!
Thanks glad you enjoyed them 😊🤙🏽
I never thought about putting a tarp on the inside of my tent.
Thank you also for your quick response. 😻 And, you're welcome. 😻
Use spray silicone on your zippers.
Wow - That was cool. I love the fan idea and the foam mats. All the tips were great. Thanks !!
Thanks Air! 👊🏽😊
I would bring the basket of shoes inside. Less chance of bugs and spiders to crawn in them at night.
@@MooKau_ Yeah you really have to watch out for those drop bears. Especially if you’re visiting Australia for the first time. 😳😁🤙🏽
@@WhereWeWild they arent that bad so long as youve eaten vegimite daily for 5 weeks beforehand.. or just put some behind each ear before you head out ;)
@@WhereWeWild you could get a reusable silica gel bag or two to toss in a closed container for the shoes so they can be kept inside

Thanks I haven't camped in over a decade but just picked up a polyester tent in very good shape for only ten dollars. I set it up,aired it out well then waterproof sprayed it just in case. No lines to trip over and the poles are outside the tent so no need to crawl around inside like a blind baboon setting up poles.😁
You gave very good tips especially using a couple of cheap tarps to save the tent and make it comfortable.
Very good hacks
Thanks glad you enjoyed them 😊🤙🏽
If you’re camping in Australia, don’t leave that basket of shoes outside your tent, unless you’re offering homes to snakes and spiders.
Haha yeah good call 👍🏽😂 That is usually my concern even out here! I always at least turn them upside down and bang them out before putting them on. 😁
Don't leave it out in the UK either..... they'll be full of rainwater.
So multiple tarps, foam floor tiles, pool noodles etc., I'm going out on a limb here and guessing you aren't backpacking?
You could not pay me enough to camp in Australia.
I use a covered tote for shoes outside to keep out spiders, snakes, mice, etc.
Really useful, thank you ❤
Very glad to hear it! 😊 Thanks for watching! ❤️
Nice tips
Thanks hope they help ya out! 👊🏽😊
Now why didn’t I tink of that lol
I have tripped bout hundreds of times on the tie downs.
Our zipper is starting to stick so definitely gana use the wax thing
We came up with synthetic piece of grass helps keep it clean 🤔
Moe show me moe!!!!!
Hahaha oh yeah those tie downs will get ya! 🤷🏻♂️😃😂
If you leave your shoes outside then also use your socks to close the opening so unwanted things do call them home
That’s a good idea 😊 I just turn em over in the morning and give em a few smacks 😁
Your ground cloth should also be slightly smaller than your tent body to prevent it from becoming a funnel in a rain shower
Absolutely 👍🏽😊 Usually living in California we don’t really have to worry about that lol but this year seems to be a different story 😳😂
Good ideas !
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed them! 😊🤙🏽

2:21 Since I used to be a back packer and kind of have a minimalist attitude, I will not be packing these rubber tiles in the Jeep
2:56 Yep, I do this too, I have just done this to my Jeep soft top.
3:03 Hmm ... IDK, does that attract bugs to the door?
3:10 You bet, I don't like putting away a dirty tent, I always do this.
