Yan ang sakit ng pinoy, pad dumami na ng customer nila ay binabawasan nila ang portion at binabarat sa ingredients hanggang di tumagal ay unti-unti nawala ang mga customer nila. yan ang dahilan kaya walang nagtatagal na filipino restaurant sa US. Isa pa ay kakaunti ang m menu nila kumapara sa mga chinese o other restaurants.

Pilipinos have to work abroad coz while “God” was imported into those islands by the katsila … they left behind such severe chronic socio-economic inequalities leading to grinding poverty.
The oppressive kolonyalismo was done supposedly “for the greater glory of God”… which was a Ruse… a Pretense. They were after the slave labor, the timber , the gold… while Mexico supplied the silver. And Europe became wealthy !

It’s always been a dream of mine to manage or work in a small scale food stop like this. It doesnt seem overwhelming vs when i used to work at a 4 star hotel where it felt so suffocating you kinda loose your passion on providing quality food to make people happy. What made my experience worst is that we were not getting paid from working tirelessly without sitting down or even having time to actually take a break from 4:30am to almost 6 in the evening and when you even mention you are tired and your feet hurts they just say “you dont have a place in this industry” i think work place should have a balance to not let their employees be over worked cause not feeling well or being tired does impact your service. I dont think it should be a custom in the hotel and restaurant industry to let your employees to be over worked enough that their feet would bleed. That just kills someone’s passion for this type of work. Specially with minimal pay or for my case i didnt have any pay just get the hours credited for my uni.

They're actually not concerned whether you're tired or not, and worst is that, you're not compensated that much, so better manage your own business, be stress-free but financially-free, and enjoy serving Filipino food, in your own resto, enjoying at the same time, the money coming in, from your hard work...🇵🇭
I worked in a fast food restaurant for 17 years and I never treated my employees no matter what their races are, if it's their time to take a 10 minutes break, if they work 8 hours they have 2 - 10 minutes break[ no charge) and 30 minutes off the clock. I'm strict, complete uniform ,visor, name tag, in the kitchen need to use gloves and apron. In 3 months became a shift leader with mo pay,4 more months as manager then as a General Manager ay Mission Gorge, SD CA. I started as a mere employee ,been an employee of the month being there for 3 months
