A real treat to watch one of the old school legends on the table. Weenie Beanie was most noted for his one pocket game, but a real pleasure to see him play straight pool. Ortmann was but a 'child' in this tournament, but it's evident the Europeans play a tough game of 14.1.
The match was up on RUclips for a long while but then AccuStats decided to be smart and start placing copyright claims on all their videos. And yeah, not exactly a riveting finals.
i miss beanie and genes pool room--place had some real characters--and that stupid amos and andy game--they loved that thing--nobody ever had better burgers than them either........
Thank you for a great video of Weenie Beanie! Very much appreciated!
I love straight pool. Straight is where your true talent comes out

Thanks for posting most enjoyable.
Ortmann won the U.S. Open 1989 with a final against Steve Mizerak. It would be great, if someone could up this one
I have to CD, they both played poorly but Oliver still won...race to 200.

Sounds like wrestlers
Close match. Both players had idiosyncrasies you don't see so often these days. Good play, though.
Good to see weenie . All I heard is how he kept pool players pockets fats with his money lol. Lost over 6 figured to a couple people easily.
