Great to see this line of vintage figures!
Cheers BOE!! 🤘 Thanks for watching, glad you liked these! 👍
Right Dave!!! I was already looking at this line! Now you’ve sealed the deal lol, gonna pick some of series 1 up, just cherry pick as I know the time and effort you’ve put in to this line, but I do love it, and had some as a child.
And love it “is he hunting me” 😂😂👏👏👏👏”we’re no hunting him! He’s hunting us” another exceptional video mate, loved it
You're gonna love collecting Rambo!! Definitely find Trautman, he's my favourite figure, a really good likeness from the film, and of course the Rambos. I'm not going to take any blame for you starting this collection, you had already made your mind up LOL 🤣 but I may have to see if I can find that damn Strike HQ now 🤣 Have always loved the 'hunting' line 🤘🤘 Thanks for watching Luke!! 👍
@@VintageToyRush no man you’re right, I was already looking at them, but you have cemented it with your video 😂
I see, so the card was already trimmed open with the bottom slice of the bubble plastic. Cool figure and great animated TV series Rambo. Thanks. Wow, excellent sound effects, presentation of the figure abilities at the end. Nicely done!
Yeah, on closer inspection, all three bubbles had been cut before and taped. Definitely been loose previously 🔥 That figure presentation was like creating a video within a video but fun to create! Thanks for picking up on it 👍
Loving the cool sound effects with glowing head. Great video Dave.
Thanks Matt 🤘 Yeah that sound effect just worked 👍
Cool seeing you venture further into this Rambo toyline. I like the special effects you used in the video and the Clarkson reference 👍👍👍
Hey Chris! 🤘 Had fun with those special FX in this one 🤣 and very much enjoyed collecting these 6 figures over several years now! Always sneaking in a car reference when I can 👍
Great video! I also never knew about these extra figures!
Yeah, Rambo is an underrated line and fun if not frustrating at times to collect 👍
Dave your video production is fantastic and extremely well presented. Great collection and I hope you find that original gun.
Cheers Mike!! 🤘 Really appreciate your kind words! Have loved collecting these over several years, not sure if the gun will ever appear but here's hoping! 👍
Great video Dave, I bet you're so chuffed to have a complete collection! I know you put the work in so it's great to see it all paying off. Also very jealous of your Karate Kid collection, I only have Daniel and Mr Miyagi. Thanks for another superb video dude!
Thanks!! Appreciate your kind words 🤘 Definitely chuffed, it's been several years chasing these down! Dunno what's next now LOL and yeah, absolutely love Karate Kid so picked up most of the figures a few years back way before Cobra Kai started thankfully 🤣 It's worth finding the 6 characters though! Thanks for watching!! 👍
Great video brotha I had no idea they made a series 2 of this toyline, I learned alot here.
Thanks!!! There's also some really cool variants that were produced in Argentina like the Desert Brigade. May try to find some of those but you just never see them here in the UK!! 👍
I don't believe I have seen half of these figures! Great video VTR Dave!!!
Thanks GForce!! 👍 Love the Rambo line and these series 2 figures! There are even more variants from South America but they're just stupidly difficult to acquire here in the UK 🤘
Wow! That really is a cool.colkection of Rambo figures! I never had any Rambo figures as a kid but I would of loved them!! after seeing that the card back had already been opened it was a no brained Dave.
Great video my friend.
No brainer Shabby, but some people still unhappy LOL It was already opened people 🤣 I don't think these were sold in the UK - damn them, cause these would have been awesome to have as a kid, especially the Strike HQ !!! 🤘 Cheers buddy!! 👍
Love this line and really enjoyed this video!
Thanks Tony! appreciate this 👍
Awesome figures.. Thanks for sharing.. 👍😎👍
Cheers Nick! 🤘 Been a long haul finding them 👍
Great video my friend. It's great that you have collected a toyline which, like you said, it's highly underrated. I remember loving these action figures but since my faves were HeMan Motu & Gi.Joe, I only had Rambo. It would've been nice to have collected all of the Rambo action figures with vehicles and accessories. Thank you for this trip back to the most wonderful times I had as a child. 👍🏻🙏🏼
Thanks Dave!! 🤘 I really appreciate your comment! Am glad to have taken you on this memory trip! Yeah I'm sure it would have been awesome to have more of the line as a kid, especially the Strike HQ!! Mind you, MOTU & GI Joe, can't go wrong there 🤘 Thanks for watching! 👍
A great review video, for the extremely rare Coleco Rambo toyline, from Dave for Vintage Toy Rush.
Cheers Kieron!! 🤘
Incredible collection dude
Thanks!! 🤘 Taken a while to find them all 👍
Another golden installment from VTR! This was great fun to watch and although I voted for you to keep him on card, having seen the video and the tape situation (it was a no-brainer) and I am glad you've completed your loose run mate!
My Coleco Rambo stands proudly on my shelf equipped with all the accessories you sent me and he does make me smile! 👊🍻👍
Cheers Christian!! 🤘 Yeah, having looked closer at all the bubbles it was obvious this had been opened before. In fact, I'm glad he's loose now as he needed a good clean anyway. I think he'll last longer now to be honest. Although, some people still don't get it! It was already opened people!!! LOL Glad to hear your Rambo is proudly on display. Mind you, be careful, he may be hunting you! 🤣
The toys they let us have! What a line!
Not sure this line was sold in the UK!! Certainly didn't show the cartoon 👍
Great video, cool editing.
Thanks! Appreciate that! 👍
What a fantastic line mate. So glad that you were able to complete the whole collection. I knew of this line as a kid, but I have never owned any, but I did play with them at a friends house. Cheers👍🏻🍻
Yeah these are cool figures! Did your friend have the Strike HQ or any of the vehicles - must have been awesome to have these as a kid 👍
I remember my brother was Rambo for Halloween in 1st grade. Mind you, it was the cartoon version with the cheap plastic mask held on your head by a rubber band stapled on.
Wow that's amazing!! You know how to do Halloween in the US... I was always jealous of the scene in ET where everyone is dressed up wandering the streets - yep films were my view of the US when growing up 🤣
Only Andy could be cold blooded enough to keep toys in packages.
Ha!! 🤣
I'm from Brazil and had all the figures by GLASSLITE
I was shocked , the figures are so well done, a lot of acessories , articulations
One step beyond MOTU and Thundercats
My faves are Rambo with flame thrower , Mad Dog and Serpentino (the snakes guy)
Congratulations buddy
Hey Angelo! I agree, great figures which I think are under appreciated. Now, I've heard that Glasslite also produced desert camouflage versions of the figures as well. Is that true? Never seen them here in the UK. Are they easily available in Brazil? Thanks for stopping by 👍
Really nice vintage figure bro
Thanks! They're looking good on display!! 👍
Great figures and amazing collection, I have a few loose. That's how I open carded figures when I don't want to ruin the card, I have a few vintage Star Wars including Luke Poncho that I removed from the card by cutting the bubble... I did remove him in the 90's so I get a pass... right? 🤣
Yeah I think that's ok Deano 🤣 although in my case, the bubbles had already been sliced and then taped, so I only cut the tape. I would have left it on the card otherwise 🤘
It's yours, you bought it , you open it.
Cool collection. I imagine getting them in the UK wasn't easy. I was lucky enough to find series 2 carded and uncarded in the US (except for x-ray, who wasn't released in the US so I had to get a loose one from Brazil, I think, but it came with all accessories, rifle too). Good to know I am not the only one obsessed with completing it. BTW, muscle power Rambo was different from the original as it had a lever in the back that made Rambo "flex" his chest muscles. Cheers
Thanks Eduardo! 🤘 Oh wow, you have the carded run. Those must look amazing on display. Still haven't found X-Ray's rifle LOL - one day!! I'm now searching for all the Strike HQ parts with the aim of creating a spectacular display 🤣 Now, I never knew the muscle power Rambo had that feature - that's incredible. Was it ever released? Btw, it's great to meet a fellow Rambo collector - sounds like you have a fantastic collection and yes, it's not so easy to find them over the here in the UK 👍
So many accessories!
Ridiculous amount 🤣
Congratulations on acquiring Coleco Rambo wave 2 figures sir. At least you have X-Ray. He’s hard to get.
Thanks Oliver! 🤘 That X-Ray came direct from Argentina but it arrived in a padded envelope in parts. It needed some attention but as you say, hard to find, so am just glad to have one in the collection 👍
I helped my college buddy Stephen get Wave 1 of Coleco Rambo. The only wave 2 figure i assisted him was Chief. It’s loose figure but no weapons.
Amazing! Such a good toy line and can’t believe how good the series 2 ones are!! Dr Hyde is crazy!! Congrats on getting them all!
What are you collecting now?
They're awesome Andy! Really do think Rambo is an underrated line! Not really collecting anything at the moment - sort of run out of space and taking a breather! But I would love to add the Savage Strike HQ and a carded Michael Knight (but they're damn expensive) 🤣 Oh thanks for posting a link to the video on Toy Division 👍
I dipped my toe into Centurions and Rambo recently, two lines very heavy with accessories heh. Got Kat sans gear simply because she's one of the few non-hideous female action figures of that era as you know heh. Got a Jake Rockwell with backpack and helmet which was a good find with both for a decent price.
Had that carded debate also on collecting BBP Venture Bros, got a Hank on less than mint packaging but hard to get most of them loose now. Decided to wait and see if I end getting any more and whether I'll do any diorama scenes around that theme. :)
Nice! Two great lines there. The accessories on Rambo are ridiculous really 🤣 but that's what makes them so good. Well done on finding Kat, she's a good figure. As for removing figures from cards, it's such a hot topic. In this case, the bubbles had previously been cut and re-taped, so for me, no issue at all. Of course, opening a rarer, top condition card probably not a good idea 🤣 Sometimes though it's the only way to get that loose complete figure 👍
@@VintageToyRush I got some leads on accessories but I'm going to be patient like you suggest.
Some would be sad about the taped spots but you saw it as a great opportunity. :D
I have the original Rambo figure, fire power Rambo, Col. Troutman, KAT, General Warhawk, Gripper, and Mad Dog.
Nice!! Trautman and KAT still some of my favourites!
Are they rare in england?
Yeah, they can be!! The series 1 figures you can pick fairly easily - but some of the series 2 are really hard to find - such as Dr Hyde, X-Ray and Whip Action Warhawk 👍
I got Rambo and trautman
then you have not seen the JOCSA brand RAMBO dolls in Argentina. you will not believe.
ha! now I've heard about those! some of them look fantastic - am tempted but they're near impossible to get here in the UK 👍
They were mistook.
Not sure I understand 🤔
@@VintageToyRush They weren't origin, but bastioned.
What a bit of luck someone else made the decision for you.
Absolutely! Definitely been opened before! 👍
With the new woke movement there is no way a cartoon like this would even be considered in this age of TV I got this guy years ago off eBay for like 18 bucks incomplete I wish I would have kept my Rambo figures but life comes at you fast
Great price!! Yeah, if only we could have all hung on to a few more items 👍 Thanks for watching 🤘
