Really nice comparisons to where the Epic 2 sits in comparison to other gliders (comparison to 777 & Advance). As a low airtime Epic owner I often find reviews too generic but here you set the wing in context. Thanks.
How does the Epic 2 compare to the Ion 7 / 7 light? I already saw both of your reviews and also flew the Epic 2 in Columbia but maybe you could point out the main differences? Thank you in advance! :)

Thanks for the review! I really like that you tell where you see the glider in comparison to other gliders. Thats makes the review a lot better/helpful. Will there be reviews of the Supair Delight 4 and the Niviuk Arrow? Greetings from Germany:)
I've flown and made a video on the Epic under power, not sure if it was a 1 or two, and really liked it! I did notice it oscillated a bit more than others, have you noticed that?

Love this channel, this channel help me a lot as a begginer with 10 flights under my belt. I bought the magic as my first paraglider, i cant wait to start flying my own wing What you guys think about the BGD Magic? Thank you and a hug from brazil
Yes, we have tested the Echo 2. It's is very similar to the Epic 2, just with the usually differences you'd expect with a light version. It's not one of the wings where they've made the light version significantly different.
Stepping down from High-B next year for a number of reasons - but I never want to miss the incredible good agility when it comes to wings like Base 2 and Rush 6. I'm looking at Epsilon DLS (since I flew the 9er for almost 3 years), but knowing Advance it might not be very "playful" as in agility terms. Would you, Greg and team, say that the Epic 2 reacts nice and snappy-ish when only the breaks are used, or do you need to put an extra bit of pressure there +/- body weight? I know it's subjectively speaking, and yes, I will test both anyways before deciding. But beforehand expert advice helps. Thank you! Safe flights! Bonus question, sorry: A MID-B would also be an idea, but I cannot find a lot of wings in that area.
is this only 18+? i would love to do this ive always been told i was a bird in my last life because ive always wanted to fly , but i would have to wait a few years
We've flown both the original Epic the Epic 2 a good amount, so know them well. In brief, in the air I feel the Epic 2 has the similar pilot demands, handling (bit sharper, more precise), comfort and feeling (bit sharper), with slightly (but noticeably) better performance all-round, slightly flatter and more efficient turn (less rolly). On the ground, the Epic 2 again has similar pilot demands, perhaps even a little easier as it comes up better, with less of a delay at the 1/3 point compared to the original Epic. And of course the Epic 2 has a BC system, which he original doesn't. To know more about the technical differences of each, see their product descriptions and manuals.
Thanks for your sharing your opinion! 🙏 The Phantom (2016 version) was without the best performing low B wing when it was released, and for a few years after. However, from our comparative testing that hasn't been the case for at least a few years already. Actually from our testing there are at two high A wings that outperform the Phantom, the Phi Symphonia 2 and Supair Birdy. To be fair, the Phantom was released 7 years ago so it's a pretty old model now. Things have moved on a lot since then! The great news nowadays is you can get even better performance and safety for a lot less money! 😄 flybubble.com/wings/progression-paragliders

Does the lighter version of this, the Echo 2, have similar handling?
Yes it does

How would this wing compare with the Tenor Light?
I'll try to answer this here or in a Q&A video if I have time. Meanwhile watch both our reviews for comparison. 😎
