[4K] Norfolk & Western Steam Locomotive 611 Back On The Mainline

On Monday, May 24, 4-8-4 steam locomotive 611 departed the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC heading for the Strasburg Railroad. On Tuesday, May 25, we chased it from Shepherdstown, WV as far north/east as it would go in daylight.

Great video! That pacing shot that started at Overcash Rd along Rt 11 surprisingly shows my car parked....the gray Hyundai with a WV front plate. I was parked and setup up at that crossing to catch it going by. Took me by surprise to see what I thought was just a similar, but then realized to be my car. Awesome pacing shot....that's the place to do it for sure.
