Azur Lane has had it's up and downs lately. What does the average 1-star review say about the game? Are they right?

NGL after having heard it the idea of having different languages for the respective ships voicelines would be cool
Honestly, it takes me so long to make a review on a game. It's either after the first month or the first year, and then if needed, I'll change the review a little based on what I've experienced and noticed during the following year(s).
Literally my favorite series from you!! Also my favorite part is when you EMPHASIZE the all caps ONE & TWO haha cracked me up! Can’t wait for part 3!!! ♥️🤗

The only main negative thing is that since this is a 4 year old gatcha game based on events, there's a lot of stuff that's not comming back, from items or cosmetics to full roster of collab characters, wich sucks for a game wich is mostly about collecting things.
The second thing is that the skins are a bit expensive, the newer ones i can understand but the ones that are 3+ years old could get a bit of a discount.
That's nothing compared to what Genshin had, i dunno if they have more outfits but they charge you 30 bucks each for the 2 outfits
skins are how they remain so generious with the summons and cubes. while i agree its a bit much it also makes sense
@@SC-kun you can't compare in Genshin on that, the game itself releese 2020 while Azur Lane is 2018, which the game still the same they doing untill now in 2022

after joining about 6 months or so ago, I love how much the game has improved... There have been several times chatting with my boy on discord who was into the game and introduced me to it, and me being like "it would be really nice if they added a search feature to the shop so I can search for all the skins for a girl... bunch of stuff that Ive wanted that got added, honestly pretty trusting that it will continue to improve
I will say, I understand the meta lab 1 star review, it is their fault... but... I get it
edit: oh my god... its been 10 months... idk where time goes... but it was *just* a bit before best girl janus came out, love her to bits, still my only level 125 ship (although belfast and a few others are 121 for now

At 2:00min, I believe the review meant “quality of life imprisonment” was that people actually exist in jail for owning half naked women in a room like slaves. I would not brag about this game to coworkers, because it sounds like the people playing it would not realize this fact of owning 100+ half naked women cramped in a little room

Outdated Hardware, I'm using a Samsung Tab S7+ and man, AL and every other game plays so smooth and perfect.
I think I have a worst luck for a certain ship, spent 1050 cubes just to get Bismarck
500 1st run, 500 rerun and 50 cubes in a week rate up total of 1050 cubes
bro same. i finally got her and felt accomplished i got 14 copies of king george that rerun 0 bismarck i finally got her a few weeks ago from the special rate up

That's the only worst from the game when comes on pulls, worst RNG drop.
The reason, I never much praise on that game, even degenerate low life weebs that been playing since release they don't care their spending, just spend all their want praise it so much.

well, for the rewards that take no space, there is absolutely no reason to not auto collect. Would even go as far as anything except oil and gold should be auto collect, but if that breaks you the game, than good luck finding a good game
3:25 this here raises an interesting question so in the newly added war archive ashen simulacrum I managed to get the entire SSR and desired ships with 50 builds as a free to play player having the game being this friendly isn’t it expected to give same treatment to all players

Love Azur Lane, but I quit because we can't farm gems. Is all about spending cash to get those tasty skins.. idk if they have it now or not. Bought few skins, then it hit me.. not worth it anymore. Players support the game but the game doesn't really give players way to farm gems. (Only way I rmbr is getting gems from long patch delay)
Dude, that's only thing they sell and make their money from, it's skins and rings. I don't get your logic, you can get majority of the shipgirls as F2P if you're smart with cube spending and farming, yet you still complain that you can't get skins for free? Might as well give everyone free skins and have the game shut down sooner amirite? The only way to solve this issue of getting skins is to work and make money.

Now will it break their bank if they let players farm 3-5 gems every week? My logic stand for players not for the company profit alone. As much we want a game to success, we players have right too want a little attention and reason to stay, farming gems is one of em.

Farming gems easily is not going to happen, we get spoiled so damn much, yet people like you always find a way to complain. You don't need skins, it doesn't give stats and it's just for the aesthetic, you know it's an optional thing right? You making it seem like we need gems asap for the skins because they're important and a must have. Every online game haves microtransactions so I don't see the problem of wasting cash on skins.

@@Clourie there is a way to farm gems through commission but i guess you wont look at this comment. Also having gems are pretty much optional for your gameplay, skin are optional who doesn't give you any advantages over the game. The dev are already kind enough to give us gems for every huge update change to the game, now you want a way to farm gems? Bro you know that's like pretty much a thing that's useless to complain, also it's your fault if your gems are gone because you bought skins. Those are optional yet you bought it and now complaining because there isn't much gems on your resource.
Newbie question: I sorted my dock to [ Retrofit Available ], and does keeping all of the retrofitable ships recommended? Or should I just retire the ones that are not as appealing?
Retire the one that not appealing
Because your dock space is limited and the only way to expand it is by using gems the rarest material in the game some retrofit are very useful like Helena and unicorn other not so much my suggestion is look into the ship stats and abilities on the internet then you decide who's to keep
if you're low on dock space, you can just retrofit them, which will unlock the retrofit in your memento, and retire the ships. if you want ships that are worth retrofitting, you can check out the tierlists

Its like saying fk this portion of playerbase because - I DECIDE what you should care about and whatnot. Thats how you kill game. If you want game to be about IB only - then go on ...but dont be surprised if playerbase will shrink dramatically. AL used to give stuff to all factions on regular intervals - why change something that did work well ?
HMS enjoyers complaining is fully valid - almost 2 years while IB gets showered back to back with events and is absolute resident sleeper of every single PR season - is at best questionable - because Brits were always famous naval faction for last ... SEVERAL hundred years.
Yet somehow Manjuu pulls of that IB is somewhat substantially more important in naval warfare.
And I know this post I make now will age well - mark my words soon PR5 is dropping and IB will once again be there despite having already 3 vanguard PR ships (1DR) and 3 mainline (1DR) - while idk NP got 0, Italians have 1 and everyone else have less aswell. At this point I won't be surprised at all if PR5 comes with 2 IB ships like PR3 and PR4 ... even if it is just plain ridiculous because there are only 5 slots for ALL factions in game per PR season.
TLDR the game works in simple way - if IB gets events and PR slots - someone else doesn't get them. It is not problem that IB gets stuff , problem is that noone else gets anything because IB constantly gets shit without break. IB needs break till at least 2023 including PR - they got just 2 events including UR now. But we all know IB events are gonna pile in soon enough ...eh
