I play hockey and this bike is best what I've experienced to prepare for my games.. It puts my thighs like a beast. I break out sweats in just 5 minutes and soaked by 20th minute. This is a serious workout no joke!
Thank you for the review! I had been looking for a bike with automatic resistance with scenic rides and $500 or less (without tax). I didn't think there was a bike of that description that would also be toddler/pet safe and would come with a completely free app. The lack of subscription totally sold me. I used your link for $100 off and will only have to wait 5-10 days for the bike.
Tail Happy!! You made.my day! I have been looking for a little while for a bike to ride on off days and this one looks like it fit the bill. I just had shoulder surgery so my exercise options are limited and my fat bike is gathering dust while I recover. Just ordered today, on your affiliate link, and am excited to get going again!! Your review and videos are always spot on and thorough and make for.a much better experience than reading through thousands of reviews on Amazon.
Are there any apps that work with this bike where you can create a customized workout program where it also automatically changes the resistance level? Sort of like copying the Carol AI REHIT model.
I have been using the Renpho bike since February and I'm really enjoying it. One of the things that made it stand out for me is that it controls the resistance automatically. The next least expensive bike I've found that does this is over $2000. Using ERG mode in workouts with this bike is incredible, it's amazingly responsive. And even when in SIM mode it automatically adjusts the resistance based on the incline. I'd be very interested to hear your impression your thoughts about the 'feel' of this bike compared to the others you've used. What is about this that makes it a 'beginner' bike? (Apart from the extremely low price.) :) Since this is the only stationary bike I've ever used, I'm very curious to know what I am missing compared to more expensive bikes like the Tacx, Kickr or Atom.
I know air bikes use air, but are they similar to fixed gear or free wheel. For example do the pedals stop immediately like free sheel or keep going like fixed?
the renpho has a freewheel and the pedals stop and the flywheel can keep spinning. most other bikes are fixed drivetrains which do no work like this renpho bike
Does anyone know if this has erg mode in their app? I.e. where you set a target level of watts and then the bike adjusts the resistance to keep you putting out that level of watts.
I don’t, but I met a random person who recognized me in public a few months ago and they said they bought this bike because of me and they love it and still use it to this day.
@@TailHappyTV great I’m really much considering it due to the value. Your videos are great & informative I’m not a cyclist at all but really fancy buying a indoor bike in the coming weeks, so I’m going to watch a few more of your videos. Thank you
How’s the Build quality compared to the Sunny? When is your part 2 review coming out? The AI application is a deal breaker for me. I need the motivation of the application for me. Great Reviews , I definitely will support your channel when I buy!!
Hi. Thanks for the really great videos you put out. I have learned so much about indoor bikes in a short time. I knew nothing a few days ago. The Renpho bike does seem to be something quite different. I like the resistance control, and the fact that the resistance can be controlled by software seems to have a lot of potential. I look forward to your future videos, where you go into the software side more. From what I have seen on their website and elsewhere, their own app looks very interesting. There also seems to be lots of potential for use with third-party apps. Look forward to seeing what you think in upcoming videos.
@@TailHappyTV My Joroto X2 arrives in a few days, but I almost got the Renpho (Currently sold out). Your great reviews, of course, played a very important part in my decision. I'd like to see a comparison between the X2 (or Sunny 1805), and the Renpho. Spin vs stationary. I have a $30.00 Renpho scale that links to my Apple Watch. They seem like a very good, engineering focused company. It's not a spin bike, but a stationary bike, although a very good one with its metrics and smart resistance via their app. I AM a beginner, but at 210 and 6'4" (OK I've shrunk to 6'3" at 63 yrs), I want the total workout. I want the inertia, the burn, the smoothness of the spin bike. But maybe I don't need a spin bike, just like I don't need a 500 lb set of weights. How much of this would I miss? How would Johnny G rate this bike? Does Renpho smart resistance work with any other apps? Lastly, the X2 is going to travel with me in my semi sleeper (I water row at home), so weight and footprint were necessary considerations. The Renpho is both lighter and smaller than the X2. I didn't use your link for the X2, because I ordered a package deal on Amazon with the longer seat tube and spd pedals. Maybe post a way for grateful viewers to send a thank you?
is this multi-purpose friendly? I want to buy a decent spin-style bike for myself, but need one that can also be used as a regular upright bike for an elderly parent. Would this work for both of us?
What is the best inexpensive bike with magnetic resistance, lighter flywheel, and resistance level display? PLEASE REPLY!!!! (A plus would be having the tablet holder)
I was shocked to see this bike at this price and jumped to get it. Then got to the checkout and realised I live in Australia and it's $1500 when you count shipping. *sigh*

Can you make a video on how it works with zwift, trainer roads and rouvy?

FYI I realize this is an old video but they include a water bottle holder that you install just under the handlebars using the provided screws.
Just bought a Renpho Bike myself and loving it. By the way, you put the pedal strap backwards ;)
Can you review the stryde bike?
I lost my power adapter when I moved. What voltage do I need to replace it?
Awesome review! Hits on lot of the things I was wondering about on the bike. Thanks!

While you don't have to, but could you add any gel pad or cushioning if one wants to? Thanks!
yes of course, you can also completely replace the seat with a C9 cloud or any seat you want since it has the standard bolt pattern
Maybe a seat extension would help to compensate for a person taller than 6'3".
renpho ai bike vs echelon ex-15?
which one would you recommend?
Ex-15
@@TailHappyTV any reason specifically why?
Better training results for outside?
I loved your review of this bike! how does it compare to the Schwinn 130/170 which i have checked out also? Thanks
Mine has like a powerdrop. Any idea how to fix
I just got this bike but find the handle bars too low, can I adjust them?
I missed having you talk about the feel of the drivetrain vs a fixed flywheel. Is it choppier feeling?
How solid does this feel in case a rider was slightly over the recommended max weight?

Fixie, I love the feel of fixed drive trains :). Freewheel has it's benefits too of course.
