Excellent review. I've got the Hexa and really like them. The things you've pulled out resonate very much with my experiences. Tips do make a difference. However, for fun I keep falling back on my 7hz Timeless (even though I have other IEMs with more detail, depth and better handling of classical).
hi there, i'm currently searching for the best iem at 100 usd or less, is the truthear hexa better than the moondrop arias? i want my iems to have a little bass and no muddyness, can u give some recomendations? thank you!
@@aroundandaround4106 yep, weird thing is i ended up with a specific pair of bluetooth headphones that i always use wired, the jbl 710 bt, it has the closest sound profile to harman scale for its price
Dude.. I like your style of reviewing.. to explain something not known to someone you don't know (if this makes sens) you need to point out specific parts of a song, i apreciate you mentioning the songs, very important 👍👍👍
sir, I like bass in my music, but I can tell from all the reviewers and even yours that it carries a very neutral sound signature.Sir. I have only one question for you if I increase the sub and mid bass with my phone's EQ, will I get the bass punch? Which I can feel in my current CCA-CRA.
They shine with spinfit cp 100+ eartips! Prefer the Hexa over my Olina OG. The only thing the Hexa can’t do that the Olina does is the holographic soundstage.
Tbh, this set is a little bit overrated. The fit is shit, the timbre is not natural, and is hard to drive with just using smartphone. I don't like it that much. The tonality is very good. I agree with that. It's safe from sibilance and harshness.
That might depend on your smartphone's internal amp. Not all smartphones can power iems, it's usually expected that you're going to use at least a dac or dac amp combo with these types of iems.
Please add timestamps :)
I’ve had the Hexa for a couple of weeks now and your review I find to be spot on. Budget IEMs are getting crazy good.

Which other sets do you have that has more detail than that of timeless?

Really good reviews again you’re on a roll
Great review! Have you tried to use the spring tips on these, wonder how they would fit!
very comfy, maybe the most comfortable even, but unfortunately the bass is the smallest compared to the other
@@aftersound_review great news! does it also affect the mids and the trebles?
yes but for me the most noticeable difference is in the reduced bass qty

I'm in the same situation, did you end up making a decision between the two?

Thanks for the review, would have bought them if it had more bass
Really great and on point review!
Just got my Hexa, really loved it
Nice review and good song selection!

not sure about it since EQ and driver have limitation too, i’d suggest simply buy the one with more bass like simgot em6l
how does hexa compare to the dunu titan s, in terms of treble and details?
for me hexa has better extension and detail but titan s sounds more natural in timbre, personally even it’s less detailed i prefer titan s’s

yeah i tried cp100 it gives better sub bass presence and more perceived separation nice!! but i do still find the dynamics is lacking
@@aftersound_review try with final e tips

@@wilhelmpaulm but my phone can drive sets that have similar price. They are Kiiboom Evoke, Kiiboom Allure, and NFAudio NA3
Would you recommend Tin HiFi T3 plus over these?
