Great interview! David’s shredication is heroic. I like the way he talks about approaching tricks or fixing up skate spots. The appreciation of the artistry in skating, the song choices and every level of what it takes to make a timeless part. Really puttin in that work not rushing it.
His TY part put him on the map permanently with tre flip nb clipper. You didn’t touch too much on that trick but he’s talked in length about it on 9C.

to be honest its alot of talk over anotehr video of the same tricks weve seen for over ten years now.
same tricks but maybe one or two if lucky per part, recently chris cookie colburn put out a few parts where skatings creativity of ol' was shown in man of his tricks but in general everyone keeps doing the same shit, id much rather see guys work on one or two tricks over a few months and put out singles that are really impressive not just filler. it used to be a artform and video's show'd art which is a craft that surpasses's itself, nowadays its just more craft and more craft and more craft aka the same tricks but one stair longer. there's few artist left.
everyone is in the same shit footwear from new balance or nike, everyones got on the same clothes, skating has taken a shit.
thrasher will take his part and it will be gone in two hours after months of work if not a year or two. thrasher is no longer what it was now its just a parastie.
the new model should be skaters get youtube stations, you pay to watch by signing up for membership and every trick has a tip jar next to it so watchers can reward the work beyound the 3 cents each view pays you from adcents.
