He's killing this to be live. That's a HARD song to sing. And the ease he is singing it with us just flat amazing
The microphone used, in addition to good equipment, a festival production with hoses spraying water on the public, is incredible, the interlude is precise, respect.

At first I was shocked at the singing and thought it was awful, however the more times I play this I begin to love it. The bit at 2.55 is insane and couldn't imagine how cool that must've been to hear it live

I would LOVE to hear this live in person.
I've seen them 8 times, all in a different type of venue/setting, and have to say they're one of my favorite live bands. Seeing them again in June!

Lotta people in these comments clearly haven't listened to the actual song properly. He's singing just one layer of the lyrics without the other layers. I am surprised they didn't have a backing track of the other layers. He is unfortunately but one man and you can't sing four separate layers of vocals live.

He sounds nothing like kermit here he actually gave a good vocal performance but because you are so close minded and dont know shit about vocals he is actually doing real good frye screams with good raspy vocals behind it you clearly dont listen to any type of rock or heavy metal which is why you dont appreciate these type of vocals but he did a great job and takes lots of practice and good talent and he was intoxicated which you can clearly see and still put out a great vocal performance
