I’ve been playing smite with my friend for around a year and a half now. After months of asking he finally convinced me to play league. After trying that game for a few matches, it really put into perspective just how much better Smite is than its competitors. Ive gained a new appreciation for the funny mythology moba…
The only reasons league is more popular is because controls are easier to play, has better localization support, and can run on a toaster PC. Smite needs a decent rig to play, controls are more complex, and other than EU & NA servers, there other server bases are awful. Also, league is more broken, which gives folks more opportunities at power fantasies when they snowball and get fed in lane. It's almost impossible to come back from a match in league if you lose lane. In Smite, there's a chance to play defensive and turn the tables.
I've been seeing a TON of Solo lane - Nike Mid - Thoth Jungle - Gilgamesh Adc - Cyribdis Support - Geb But it feels like this is a high AA/Damage season unless you have 1 shot potential or High CC. Everyone is buying damage items, even supports.
Hel is really good in mid right now and Nem has a crit build that imo is the most entertaining thing to play out of the jungle. people cant run from the autos cuz youre faster than them and she does crazy damage as well.
Me honestly, I do hades jungle with the bulid that is bumba’s spear, blue Bancroft, typhon fang, poly, chronos pendant, and red tahuti it’s viable but you gotta know what your doing or your useless
bellona is insane rn. im consistently top everything early to mid when i play her and can comfortable 1v2. if you go quins second no one can contest you in lane and you can build a fat lead
Personally. I have been in the camp that ADCs are broken. They have not been in a healthy state for a while. I am not fond of their sheer capacity to shred everything with little thought in building. I truely miss having to choose between shredding tanks or shreding squishies... Now they shred both and onbjectives as well with no true counter save the band aid of anticrit.
I really wish they gave us more anti crit, but I also think there should be more items/trees with crit if there’s more of its counter. There’s like 10 ish gods that do some degree of healing, some better than others of course, and then there’s lifesteal and certain items like mail of renewal, so there’s like 6 anti heal items (give or take like 4 since no one buys toxic blade and certain others) and there’s tons of gods that have anti heal in their kit like Cu Chulainn, Medusa, Bacchus (for some reason?), I mean Ah Puch is like a one stop shop for anti heal
@@TragikDino the current anti crit item is fine. The issue lies in how powerful crit builds are. Getting all the stats they need with no downside. That aside there could be buffs to the counter adc items... to make them truely have an effect on adcs in lategame.

They put themselves in a position where if they nerf one crit item then the whole build is really rendered worthless. I am well aware that one nerf doesn’t make a mechanic useless, but it really seems the majority of the player base don’t really agree. Personally Malicious DeathBringer is, and for a while has been, the better DB glyph. Meanwhile it seems everyone else still thinks Envemoned (no matter what item they throw it on) is a attack speed and damage output debuff when it’s now a glorified Toxic Blade on an actually good item

Crit was still useful back then. cuase crit let you shred squishy but tanks still were hurt but not out right into a shreder with em. There also used to be more crit items. They pulled em out in sjiffled them into a few crit items. That is what has caused this issue. The issue is hardly 'nerf crit' regardless. Before they did that hunters began the treck toward only crit as they gave a handful of items all the stats a hunter wants. Then they brought crit to a few. Thus creating the issue the originaly tried to stop. Thus again. The issue is not really crit so much as hunter items as a whole need a rebalnce to let there be choices again. Here's to smite 2 doing just that.

What do you mean AA-cancels when talking about Thanatos? I guess cancelling your auto-attack but in what way, how and why? Really good content, but I am a bit nooby and need a bit of extra help!
Thats a combo with the hidra item, everytime you use an ability you try to hit a AA if you are close range( you should be if you are playing Thanatos since is a lot more difficult to hit his 1 at long range), especially useful in his ult to one shot squishies By AA cancel he means if you auto and then use an ability as soon as the auto hits you will get a faster attack speed by canceling his next attack animation, giving you a higher attack speed/damage, and with the hidra buff you can shred everyone in the lategame
I like your channel but i wish your build and strategy guides would focus a bit more on situations in Arena, Assault, Joust, and Slash... conquest is great but variety is the spice of life and not everyone has the time or confidence to play much conquest.

I’m new to smite and still learning so please someone reply with a simple explanation. When he mentions the adc roles he has 2 glyphs with the exe and deathbringer right? Is it a pick and choose in that regard or could you do both
Normally poly is meta on kuku because you can easily confirm the poly auto after hitting your 1, however in this meta I would agree in saying its probably not the best item to pick. Not completely unviable though.
Poly has mana which enhances the passive of book of thoth and kukus own passive, given him more power. In short, he is probably the best poly god in the game bc of thw damage he does wit it
@@isaacvitela5131 doesn’t matter which one I never have a problem vs either of them. Way too strong early game for either one. And Nike’s kit is anti AA really with her disarm and her 2 that negates all autos.
@@UltraMegaSeaMonkey he still gets out cleared and out poked by Nike from level 1. Once I out clear that first wave I can just use my minion advantage and push him into tower and free farm the rest of the time. Nike shouldn’t lose lane to an Osiris.
@@Talothios Is runic dagger that important though? I get the glyphs offer more protections, but I’d rather just build another defense item like Stone of Binding that also lets my team do more damage
@@nazeub962 It's a very strong item especially with ADC's and some junglers relying on auto attacking a lot. That plus having horrific emblem is a nasty nasty combo in team fights.

@@nazeub962 In all honesty the best thing to do is play what is comfortable :) The whole "meta" thing is cliche. I've cooked up some builds that have done exceptionally well and some that haven't and none of them were meta haha.
I already had the "joy" to fight Bellona with Amaterasu in Solo-Lane ... it was clear that only one of us had fun. But I am not surprised to see Kukulkan as the Top-Midlaner. I dominate midlane almost everytime when playing Kukulkan. It may sound weird but I like to combine the passives of Book of Toth and Typhon's Fang (which also gives you 200 Mana) to get even more power.
Janus I don’t think deserves top 3, his win rate isn’t that good and he lost value and if your 2 doesn’t 1 shot an adc and they have any lifesteal or crit your gone, while a cracked Janus is great that can be said on many gods, and Rama and Ishtar are super close but Ishtar is still better overall, she has the best clear and the best pressure, her late game is great as is Rama but her early game is significantly better. And putting Thor over Ravana right now is wild, Thor doesn’t carry as much damage or utility as ravana does, Ravana can lock down and kill the top mages and adc’s. Thor throws his 2, 1 then gets auto twice or hit with an ability and is dead, portals make his ult less valuable cause rotating to prevent the Thor from doing much is easy, and he can’t kill solo laners. I think thana awilix and Ravana are the best but I think AO is arguably in the top 3 but I think it’s close. I’d argue Susano is even better than AO still with win rates as well as performance show it. I know this is an opinionated tier list but this is just my opinion as of being 2457 mmr this split. Your solo and support ones are spot on in my eyes.

"once his jump is burned he's pretty much a sitting duck" Isn't that literally any character with one mobility skill? I have never hear a high lvl player say any god in the game has a good escape. It confuses me because they always note either something redundant or impractical. Besides serquet and susan, who in the game has good mobility that isn't predictable, blockable AND doesn't leave them vulnerable.
Am I the only one that doesn't like this season? Since the removal of recipes certain gods just do feel the same also the new meta gods are making the game less fun currently. Now obelisk is super cool and camp changes.

Tsuki has been dominating solo lane, he hard counters all the auto warriors in lane and is good at pushing ganks on both side lanes with tele
The lifesteal ao build is shit early but once you get your 4th item online you’re almost unkillable even if they have antiheal it’s fun af

So prior to s11 it was a pick and choose, but as of this season you’re allowed to build as many glyphs as you want

I mean osiris is good into nike bc hes not fully-auto based, you can get axe glad, choose not to auto the nike and still poke/clear just as good
