REY BAR DUN IT "Feathers" is a head horse for any level of roper and ranch horse for any hand. He is an uncomplicated, user-friendly type head horse. Feathers is always great in the box and runs flat to a steer. He has enough speed for faster steers and a lot of rate on slower steers, making him suitable for higher- and lower-numbered ropers. He has a smooth, pretty move and face.
Feathers rides around with a lot of eye appeal and is very quiet in and out of the area. We have used him on our yearling operation and he makes for a fun horse to sort on, doctor outside, and use for any ranch chores. He is sure-footed, smooth and enjoyable to ride.
At 15.1 hands he is a really nice size and his black mane, thick tail and buttermilk color get him noticed everywhere. He is easy to have around, never causes any drama and can be left off for any amount of time with no worries. Feathers is just one of those geldings who just wants to please and is up for whatever needs to get done.
