I appreciate the fact you explain some tricky parts! Failed in every other strategy of this cm because Jesselton kept leaking to the line early, but once I realized how that boss blocking part works it became much easier. Huge thanks!

It took more than a week to adjust the timings and operator replacements for my team, but this is the guide that carried my newbie team through mb ex 8 cm so thank you very much! there is no such thing as 'too many guides' on a hard stage as long as each guide is uniquely different
I did not succeed from the other guides because the advice was not detailed enough to catch all the tricky parts. But this one worked on the first try. Thank you uncle!

Trying to place the arts guard as soon as he moves did not work for me, failed 4 times in a row, but worked when I waited a little instead. Guide works great, but tricky timing on that one.
absolutely, since that leads to the arts guard waking up to tank the extra enemy from the CM
i used nearl that worked for me
I think the difficulty comes from the boss's stun and which enemy, the boss or the red-ball guy, is closer to the center of the arts guard's tile (and thus will be the one blocked) when she recovers from the stun, if she recovers while they're both in her tile. Also, if the boss has *juuuust* entered the arts guard's tile, he will be in range of the stun tower, so you can use that to help cancel his stun if you can catch the timing for that. If you block him before he enters that tile, he will be outside the stun range and you will have to wait for him to stun your operator and walk another step to be in range.
It work specifically best with mouse since her skill reduces enemy attack. Other arts guards may struggle, so mouse or mountain is actually optimal in this case since they can reduce attack
I used mountain and I had no problem
Midnight and Arene feel like almost necessary, I was cutting it very close with Lappland/Silverash. The stage explanation helped a lot!
One of my defenders kept dying so I brought gravel to help facetank

Don't actually use surtr s1 with high level as mousse's replacement since it kills the boss faster than expected, either bring an e2 mid level surtr with for s1, or bring s2 surtr (probably would do better) to make it work
I failed the stage because i use a high level surtr s1, did it better on stalling the boss with e1 max lv mousse as the guide does xd
3 whole days of wasting practice tickets and sanity. E2 3 operators just to beat this stage. This setup got me the win few hours before event expires. Feels good man, thanks!

Some tips that might be appreciated for fellow frustrated doctors:
1. Bring Surtr S2/3 (if you have one/borrow) to help delete the last wave enemies.
2. Replacing Perfumer w/ Ptilopsis will help your Ops with Auto SP charge (faster skill charge for Chalter, medics, Lord Guards, defenders), at the cost of no passive healing (+ 4 op heal if you have Perfumer's module). Make your choice.
3. Remember, Jesselton can STUN. There's also a chance he'll bypass Mousse. Be careful.
I have a suggestion. When 6:06 you need to stop che'n skill and leave 1 of that staff guy, and wait until your Operators redeployment is ready and Che'n skill is ready. Because enemies will not appear when you didnt kill that staff guy, so just stole a time and make preparation

Thankyou this guide works for me after a few tries! I didn't have 2 lords build so I used nearlter s1 haha 💀💀 and the boss was breaking through my defense and wasn't getting killed by chen so I used eyjaf as emergency button in stewards spot.
When in doubt, bring a volcano xD

From my experience, there was no need to get the art guard deployment timing perfect, i could just use the imprisionment device to stun him before he could cast his stun that would swap him with the big guy (his knife cup glows red before he stuns)
You are correct! But that means I need to introduce more steps, soooo it's gonna confuse hardstuck guide followers
I messed up my non-challenge so many times waiting for the big boy to show up to activate Chalter, only for one of my defenders to die when he didn't show up at all.

If you're having dp problems (you shouldn't, but if you do), myrtle s1 pot1 skill rank 6 (or better) or elysium s1 pot1 skill rank 7 (or better) or saileach s1 {pot1 m1 or pot2 sr7} (or better) will let you deploy ch'en the holungday (e2 pot1) at the same time as or earlier than here if you activate their skill asap. And any subsequent skill uses will put you that much further ahead with dp.
I used Eyja, Fartooth and Thorn to keep the device intact. Lmao, honestly forget about the device itself can stun.

Hey guys have a question, start a week ago and I just can clear till mb ex4 but the event says is gonna be permanent, that means store and challenge mode would be also on?
The event will become accessible permanently, so if there are stages you can't clear, you can clear them later. The store will no longer exist however. It's best you farm the event currency to finish the store.

now class please raise your hand if you didn't know there exist such a thing known as 'trim' in arknights because I sure didn't I started playing the game 3 months ago when the rainbow six collab and co op happened and never once did I realize in my journey to collect every medal that there exist such a thing as trim medal.
P.S. good video, mate and also thanks for telling me about the trim thing because I genuinely didn't know it even existed. well at least I got all medal trimmed other then blemishine event ;-;
I didn't know this was a thing at all, I finally managed to finish an event during Near alight and hurriedly opened up my medals interface, luckily I did got the Trimble medal done. I would have been so pissed

It's broken English. The proper sentence is "You cooked the mushroom soup wrongly". In Singapore, we tend to shorten our sentences either for convenience or for impact, so a Singlish or broken English version is "Mushroom soup cook wrong"

I've tried with a duelist guard and it still works (melantha)
As for the lord replacements, they are a bit harder to replace but if you have something with extended range or range extension skills it could work (for example Blaze, Surtr S2, Pallas, Gladiia)

I had explicitly stated you can replace her with other arts guard, or you can try a dreadnought guard.
Can you make one for challenge mode?

Do it in normal mode. Not challenge mode.

This guide doesn't work in America. Same issue as before. I even have stronger lvled units on E2 and it's not working. Each run has another miscalculation or frame rate discrepancy. Shame.
What the hell does doesn't work in America mean, if you find problems with it, then improvise, recognize where the gaps are. My videos give you a template, and all you'll need is to tweak it to what you have.
I'm in America, and I also have stronger operators at e2, and it works for me. There's a little bit of leeway in deployment timing due to different costs for operators, and you might notice that the guide has extra dp for every deployment so that dp isn't an issue. So the timing with blocking the boss is really the only sensitive part. There's nothing in the timing so tight that frame rate would be an issue.
@@iJedi_aye there is no getting around it. I use the same ops as him and micmic the moves exactly. It doesn't work. I can't explain it. Either Chen doesn't kill the big guys and they activate his friends, or she runs out of bullets and the tank dies, or the boss gets past mouse way too soon, or the boss takes little damage from mouse and Chen runs out of bullets and doesn't kill him so he is able to run amok even when I bring other ops to stall/weaken/fight him. Each run - a new instance happens. I don't know what to tell you since Im even using stronger ops and it doesn't work. Smh....

There comes a point when everything is the done right but the results are completely different. I have to ask which version of the game are we even playing. Lol.
