Cayman GTS 4.0 owner here. The 4 cylinder 718 gets a lot of hate but I think it’s largely unwarranted. This is a ground up Porsche designed 4 cylinder. Yes it has some Subaru sounds at idle, but that’s a product of the flat 4 architecture. To me it’s a badass power plant. And it delivers tons of torque, great responsiveness, and in my opinion an awesome sound (especially at mid/high RPMs). Awesome car. The one head scratcher is the price. My 2024 CGTS came out to $104,690. That’s less than this build, and I feel my car is a nicely equipped spec. The 2 liter variant should be at least $15k less than the 4.0 in my opinion.
Oh my redlining/over-rev at a standstill and not fully warmed up is a huge no no. At 9:23. Treat them like they are your own. Also, do not turn the steering wheel while at a standstill. Car salesmen need to learn about cars - most don't know squat.
Geez lol and the car was running for about 40 minutes before revving. Should’ve been plenty warm. If I was to treat it like it were my own, you’d REALLY be unhappy😂
Could definitely do with a bit more research before doing a review. Didn’t even know where the oil goes? No time on what options the Style Edition brings to the table?

I keep my eyes open for that video Will.

Great review and I would love to buy this car.
Beautiful, it would be even better in standard transmission
