Indeed, kiddieland has its own air about it that a major park doesn't. Glad the coaster was saved, I'm proud of Six Flags. However, that combination of traditional rides, lighting, urban classic Americana was far better than a retail store and acres of parking. I'll always miss it; I've only been 2 or 3 times. I live nowhere near but it was cute. Next time Chicago I'll ride it at SFGA unless I exceed the height requirement.

The Kiddieland sign was preserved at the Melrose Park Library and First Avenue was dedicated in 2021 to Kiddieland with street signs.
