    Thanks for doing this video Sir. I enjoyed watching it. I am considering adding a Wilson or a Nighthawk!

      BERETTA9mmUSA I would go with the Wilson. I’ve owned both and still have my CQB. Nighthawk makes a sweet pistol don’t get me wrong, but Wilson is it brother. By the way been a subscriber of yours for a while now love your channel!

    Another great informative video! The video before this gave me a lot of hope as far as the waiting period goes. I ordered my customized CQB in February and I'm looking forward to running it! I compete in IDPA as well and currently shoot CDP. I'd like to see you post some IDPA videos and possible you running CDP with your CQB, I think that'd be awesome. Keep up the great vids, thanks!

      45OPERATIVE Right on man thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yea hopefully you won't have to wait too long for your CQB. I do have a few videos of me running this gun on a few stages that I will post as soon as I figure out how to edit them. Thanks for watching! Shoot straight!

    i am ordering my CQB now. i knw they quoted me 12-18 months and the salesman told me it really will be close to the 18th month mark... but everyone saying there coming much sooner. thoughts??

    • @sincityguns3460
      @sincityguns3460  2 года назад +1

      Hey man thanks for watching! Umm I think both of mine came a bit sooner than what they quoted me but not by much. What I tell everyone is there is only one Wilson Combat and the lead time on a custom pistol that you got to choose every part of is what it is. The sooner you order it the sooner you will have it! Congrats man!

    Put small o rings under the grip screws. Should keep them from coming loose.

      Sin City Guns can't take credit for that one. That is a Larry Vickers and Ken Hackathorn mod.

    Good video, only thing I could say to improve on is to get the gun away from the mic, it’s been hell on the ears with headphones. Also, how did it get an idiot scratch.

    • @sincityguns3460
      @sincityguns3460  6 лет назад

      GoldenWebb Hey thanks for watching! Every scratch on it was from this idiot right here! You should watch my post 10,000 round video or the one where I cleaned up this after 10,000 rounds. It has scratches all over the place. I ran this thing hard as hell for a year and it took it all! Great gun!!

      Sin City Guns I already have watched it! It’s a nice gun no doubt. There is a nice used one on armslist for a good price but idk if I’d rather build a stainless one myself. I’m a stickler over places on guns

    It would be nice to see the slid to frame fit not just reposition of working the slid

      Pat Feys Hey thanks for watching! I show the slide to frame fit in another one of my videos. I believe it’s in the 10,000 rounds later video. Check it out when you have time.

    Beautiful gun. I'm getting a Wilson Combat Classic in Black Armor Tuff with Walnut grips and no upgrades. It's $3030. I was looking at the CQB but figured for my only Wilson I might as well go with the classic look. At some point I'd like to get a Wilson with the blued finish but I believe you have to go Supergrade to have that as an option

      H.T.V. Blu I actually put the breaks on the Wilson 9mm. I had the chance to get an STI Marauder Special Edition in FDE at one of my local gun shops. I don't have it yet but it should be in soon. I have never had a double stack 1911 so I wanted to jump on it. I will run it for a bit then I will post a video review on it.

      Sin City Guns Great, looking forward to it. I know very little about double stack 1911s so I will watch with interest. Thanks.

    I need help, I've been researching the web for peoples opinions on the "best" 1911 company out there. I want to buy one myself that fits my needs: competition, reliable, edc, self defense, I need this gun to be my best friend😂 im trying to keep the budget under 4500$ (I've saved for over 2 years for a beastly 1911) I've heard company's like: Colt, Remington, S&W, Wilson, Kimber, and Springfield make the "best" 1911. I just really want to know which is THE #1 company that makes the best 1911. Please help.

      Ignacio Ruelas Hey brother thanks for watching! Man that's a really tough question! Obviously I really love Wilson Combat and I have had great luck with mine. That being said I also have a Sig 1911 that's been great. I have a Kimber that I am not at all impressed with and I have seen many other Kimbers fail. I have a few friends that have some of the higher end Colt's and they all run excellent for them. In general I think most would say that the higher end custom / semi - custom 1911's are a bit better. Dan Wesson, Wilson, STI, Ed Brown, etc. For me I chose Wilson because of all the different options they offer on their custom builds. I really like being able to spec the gun out to my exact needs. I would also recommend making sure that whichever company you choose make sure they make all their own parts in house. There might not be much to this but I feel that in house parts offer better fit, consistency and quality control. Ok so now that I have said all that...just order a Wilson and shoot the shit out of it! Check out my 10,000 round Wilson video to see how these guns hold up over tons of rounds! Thanks again for watching!

      Ignacio Ruelas, there's really no such thing as the #1 company that makes the best 1911. A lot of people criticize Kimbers; but I have a stainless, Kimber Custom 2 Raptor, that is not only drop dead gorgeous, but is scary accurate, and has never malfunctioned. Both of my Springfield TRP's are amazing; and my Dan Wesson V-Bob and Colt Wiley Clapp, stainless Commander, are also top notch. In fact, after nearly of a year of watching videos on RUclips, and doing research on Wilson Combat pistols, particularly, the CQB; I had one transferred from a Cabela's, out of town, to my local Cabela's, so I could check it out. I paid about $27 to have the gun shipped; and last night, I handled it and inspected it, for the first time. I was totally UNIMPRESSED! There was NO WAY, that gun was worth $2000 more than my TRP's. It's not about the money, either. I was so pumped about purchasing my first Wilson Combat; I told all of my buddies, and even sold one of my favorite guns. It was a nice gun... for about $1500. That's the MAXIMUM I would pay for it; not the $3500 asking price. I had a similar, disappointing experience, when I was all crazy over the Jesse James Firearms, "Cisco". It looked cool; but that was about it. Crappy trigger, vague reset, slick grips, blacked out sights; for more than the price of my SCAR 17s. NO THANKS! The Wilson Combat CQB is far better than that gun; but it's NOT far better than the 1911's I already own. I don't want to sound like a shill; but with a budget of $4500, I would suggest checking out the guns offered by Nighthawk Custom. I don't own one of their guns; but I've handled them. They are top notch, in my opinion. Amazing triggers, cutting edge designs, customization options; the whole nine. At the end of the day, the perfect 1911, is going to be the one that is perfect for YOU. Good luck.

      Trae UCity how are your TRP’s? Do they have the infamous marring on the barrel lugs from the guide rod slamming into them? I’ve been reading up and really want one but after hearing about this problem from many owners I’m worried I may just have to wait until I can spend 3k on something that won’t fail me.

      Mr. Mann My Les Baer Boss if really Awesome for $2,200. I also have a Stainless Custom Carry Le Baer for about $2,100. Prices are going up another $150 on the 2020 models, so if you can find a left over 2019 you will save some money. Good luck.

    Does it have the Ryan Wilson high grip mod?

    • @sincityguns3460
      @sincityguns3460  8 лет назад

      +Joseph Nubile Yes sir it sure does. Look at the upper portion of the front strap right under the trigger guard and you can see that it has been scalloped out. They also use a different contour on the grip safety to help your hand / grip get higher. It's hard to notice when looking at it however if you put it next to a 1911 without the mod you can really notice it. I can also tell the difference when shooting it. I like the way it feels much better than my 1911's without this mod. Thanks for watching!!
