Peru destroys ancient pyramid to build home

- An ancient pyramid in Peru has been bulldozed to make way for new flats.
It is one of many famous cultural sites in and around the capital that are being sacrificed for the sake of development.
Al Jazeera's Mariana Sanchez reports from Lima.

Ancient Egypt didn't need any contact from Peru to build their pyramids and education. 2 very separate civilizations with no contact. Ancient Egyptians came up with their geometry and education all on their own.
If the foundation was so great. I would just build on top of it. Man that is sad. They wrecked history.
China is doing the same thing to their pyramids but they're planting for its on top of them. At least they are still in existence.
Well it would have been nice to go see them, since no one is going there to visit some slum they are building.
