Another episode of “Kage appreciates a character most of the community deemed bad - Chocoboy edition” :) It’s just fun to see someone give new characters a chance, stepping out of ranking lists and usage rates.
To be fair, normal, everyday Genshin players don't have the luxury to give every single character a chance. Everyone has to make concessions somewhere, and if people can pass on Mika, it means more of a chance they get who they want later.
Never ulting with mika in the fighting bosses section to get the physical attack damage bonus is pain. xD (just means we need a part 2 hehe). Mika is surprisingly really fun to use that's for sure!
Mika one of the few who are friendly with Eula (he even translates her to others apparently since you know the whole revenge thing isn't the best way to communicate to others at times 😅)
I just see him as our Chocobo mascot we managed to slip in legally from Square Eenix. If only he could turn into one for travel means then we'll truly have a Best Boi.

It's Jean, Chongyun and Mika that increase Atk Speed.Jeikage.Wanderer is currently the only character with an atk speed specific signature weapon.(as far as I know anyways...)
Your first 40 pulls is exactly what happened to me except it's 1 Ayaka and 1 Shenhe(still pulling for a Mika after 50 pulls) Edit: great news boys I can now turn Yoimiya into an actual gatling gun
JEI- YOU MUST TRY THIS! Rosaria with cresent pike and the new anemo set, mika, Yun Jin, and an electro (I use fischl). You go oz, yun jin burst, mika skill, Rosaria Skill, then charged attack. Then watch all the numbers as you attack fast AF and get that crescent pike passive. Its so much fun.
(New anemo set gives 40% damage on normal and charged hits as well as 10% normal atk speed after using a charged attack. Its actually also super good on Yanfei.)
Yun Jin gives attack speed as well at c6. You can also use fischl has the main dps with compound bow for extra attack speed as well. If you can't tell Im a huge fan of haste effects too. Also I think ayato gives atk speed at c4, Im not sure tho, I dont have him.
Kage, if I remember correctly I’m pretty sure that there’s another character that gives an attack speed boost. It’s Chongyun’s E field. I don’t play Chongyun so I might be mistaken.
There’s 3 reasons you wouldn’t even use Chongyun or his attack speed boost . 1) He only provides elemental application and not much dps outside his burst. 2) The attack speed boost is small and almost negligible for melee characters, and melee’s don’t benefit that much from attack speed because hitlag. 3)Attack speed bonuses only benefit bows/catalysts that dont have hitlag, and again, his skill doesn’t affect non melee weapons.
His Eula is at least c2, has her BiS weapon, and he's only doing 260k max!? With Mika and Shenhe...! Mine does 350k with c0 and WGS with only superconduct... I asume Rosaria buff runs out before the sword explodes.
Hahaha Chocobo.... I thought of it as well when he got his trailer cinematic. Where we got a good look at him. His letter delivery speech cutscene didn't allowed us to get a good look.
I tried Mika with Eula too and I was doing around 220K damage from her burst. I thought I am doing something wrong because I saw someone else doing around 300K but your Eula burst with Mika also does around 220K so I guess my damage is normal? Also tried Mika+Razor versus the dendro chicken and managed to kill it in one rotation but failed to do the same with Eula.
i am semi-officially mika's biggest fan, and i can say that not only am i very glad to see mika love on yt since so many people hate on him for no reason, but i also now want to pull for eula for the sole reason of using mika as god intended instead of using him as a dps because i am insane

I literally got ayaka on my first 10 pull. Then got shenhe (won the 50/50). Then got the Amos bow, mistsplitter reforged and than the Calamity queller. I got one more waifu to go which is eula.
This guy got 2 shenhes,and a bunch of sucroses while not getting even one mika,while i literally got 2 mikas in a row (i didnt even want him btw),one diona,and sucrose was literally the last 4 star i got from this banner even though she was the one i wanted the most (at least now i have her c1),but i didnt get even one 5 star from this banner,i literally just want one ayaka.
fr they should’ve run eula and shenhe together with mika. they’d all work so well together (shenhe’s burst lowers physical resistance) like imagine how godly a banner with fischl, mika, and rosaria would be with eula and shenhe together like they’d be bringing back the relevance of physical damage, it would be godly ngl

Clam is actually pretty decent on Mika since his cooldown is only 18 secs, which is low for healers.
