    Thanks for showcasing this griddle. That cast iron underside looks like it would be a game changer compared to a standard griddle. Love what you guys are doing here.

    I would LOVE one of these. Ive been bitching for YEARS! For someone to develop an outdoor griddle with a stainless steel top.........unfortunatley these are priced WAY beyond the average persons means. 😢

    What makes this more desirable than a Blackstone at 1/5th the price? Is stainless steel better than cold rolled steel?

    • @vikingrbeerdserkr8406
      @vikingrbeerdserkr8406 Месяц назад

      Stainless offers better sticking at lower temps for better searing and crust development. And it's easier to clean and doesn't rust

    nice video what is the best way to clean a stainless steel grill as I find everything sticks to it's hard to clean ?

    • @allthingsbbq
      @allthingsbbq  2 года назад +1

      Great question! After you're finished cooking and while the surface is still hot, you can use an old cotton towel soaked in hot water. If its really bad, try putting a scouring pad under the towel and use a spatula (for leverage) to clean the surface… Don't over do it with the scouring pad. Would recommend using a BBQ glove or oven mitt to protect your hand.

    do you guys have any opinions on the grillagrills silverback smoker? looking to get something affordable and easier to use

    • @allthingsbbq
      @allthingsbbq  7 лет назад

      I have not cooked on one. They are essentially a Traeger, and there are a lot of units just like it (essentially the same controller, material and the same center mount burn pot). If you have a Traeger dealer locally, their newest Pro series is a pretty good buy if you can get them to deal.

    • @oreo10111
      @oreo10111 7 лет назад

      yeah Ive been trying to decide between the two, seems like traeger is a little more expensive with less features, Ill give them a try

      The Silverbac is the best bang for the buck. I've been looking for a good pellet grill for a decent price and I like the Camp Chef smoke pro DLX or the LUX, check them out.

      I have the Camp Chef Smoke Pro DLX and have been extremely happy with. Their ash removal system us super convenient.

    • @lakorai2
      @lakorai2 7 лет назад

      G. Florez Wayy to expensive for what it is. Blackstone has a stainless steel griddle for like $350. if you dont need stainless then you can also get a griddle plate for camp chefs home camp stoves for $50 or so.

    • @allthingsbbq
      @allthingsbbq  7 лет назад +1

      lakorai2 I've cooked on a Blackstone. Uneven heat, light weight, wouldn't get that hot. A perfect tool for someone who isn't interested in cooking a lot. It isn't built a tenth as well built as the Le Griddle, doesn't feature the fused cast iron back, and the stainless top is incredibly thin. Just because a cook top looks similar doesn't mean you can even start to compare the two.
