Never even considered this application. I'd be interested to see how it acts in 24 or 48 hours. Does it rinse and blow dry as nice, what is that sacrificial layer's lifespan? I would have to assume significantly less than the normal application?
I can almost guarantee this application method will be worse in every way, than applying it correctly. That being said if you are in a pinch or just want to make the drying process easier on a neglected car I think you could forgive the downsides for the ease of drying.

Slipstream was used as a spray sealant so I would think this product would act the same since it is pretty much the same product
Its slightly different but yes same concept. We wanted to give it a formal test though just to be sure.
