Yep that's what I am getting single core cpu on exynos is on par with snapdragon and beats it on multi-core and exynos absolutely destroys the snapdragon in gpu performance at least according to geekbench
I ran the Geekbench twice in my S22 Ultra Exynos 512/12 GB and the results are as follows : TEST 1: Single Core : 1173, Multi Core : 3487 TEST 2: Single Core : 1165, Multi Core : 3498
Just threw a like for the Halo Infinite t-shirt. Love that freaking game like crazy!! Also upgrading to the Snapdragon 512Gb from my Note 10+. Can't wait for those cameras!!
Dude, you're a reviewer, you should pay more attention to what you do... Your exynos Geekbench score is way off, do you watch or read any other tech content out there besides your own? How could you take those scores seriously given that the exynos 2100 of last year had a ~1050/3400 score? You seriously saw that and went "yeah, sounds about right, let's move on!" ?? A serious reviewer would have redone that benchmark lol
I think the tests should be redone after a month or two, software updates and optimizations for the games are crucial for both of the phones. Also a camera and battery test would be good! Your reviews are very good 👍
1:57 Bro come on , dont do the exynos like that. It beats snapdragon in multi score with around 3800 depending on the other variables. Clearly you did smth wrong, charge the phone and do the test again at the same time not weeks apart.
I use an Exynos version Note 9 512 GB (model SM-N960F) from many years ago and the Geekbench score is 666 single core score and 2105 multi core. That's on "balanced" mode...not even high performance mode selected. I highly doubt technology that's 3 or 4 generations later will get LESS points in single core benchmarks unless the phone was on saving battery mode, the test was performed with a close to draining battery, performed while super hot or something like that.
The problem is the optimiser app on s22 devices the AI is very strong and even tells you its disabling stuff or apps i dont use This year the exynos actually runs cooler than sd 8 gen 1 this is after the update esp when you use game launcher by samsung
You’re doing something very wrong here with the geek bench. I almost feel ur doing something on purpose to boost views. Exynos sucks but it’s never ever that bad when it comes to geekbench
It's a brand new GPU architecture(RDNA2) for Android , Drivers are new and whenever they get mature(probably next year), It would require developers some effort to get the actual performance that the hardware is capable of Actually it's a HUGE achievement for Samsung for now that it just works
I disagree. Samsung and AMD have been working on this for years now, and they're both professionals - there's no excuse for a product coming out half-baked. Either delay it or don't launch it if it's not ready. It clearly isn't ready and it shows.
It's as you said first. As many games not optimized for the GPU on the exynos version. It's on developers as usual. Adreno is more widely used so they develope for that first
This year the Exynos is better in a few months people will realise 🙂 in reality both are bad this year the SD is power hungry with it's raw power & gets hotter from my experience testing both variants this week, the Exynos is powerful will run everything u throw at it, all the games that are available etc.. slightly lower fps but a better sustained performance, so this year Exynos is perfectly fine for most people, normal users & power users alike. Great video as always mate but I realized your Geekbench single core was super low, mine are showing more or less even on both variants both updated to latest firmware.
Exynos is better im afraid the gpu destroys the snapdragon by thousands of points according to geekbench and the cpu is better in mult-core and on par in single core with the snapdragon, once apps and games are fully optimized to take advantage of the exynos its going to destroy snapdragon completely because it also produces less heat and is therefore more efficient aswell
I have no idea why you think exynos is better or where you've had this idea from because all the statistics and videos I've seen exynos are way inferior than snapdragon!!!!
Excellent review as always. This really helped me decide which to go for. Also you kept calling black desert mobile, "black mobile desert". I was a little bit confused lol.
You need to re-upload your video to show proper test scores. Your Exynos device Geekbench CPU results are way out of whack my friend. I have just done the same test on my S22 Ultra (Exynos) twice and these are the lowest results: Single Score: 1180 Multi-Core score: 3612 The OpenCL Score: 9040 (this was closer to your result but still, 500 points higher?!) Something is not right with your device my friend.
Nice! Good to see Samsung & AMD collaboration paid off. Many S22 Exynos SoC Benchmarks & Actual performance results are coming in now. Exynos 2200 Actual Benchmark results are being reported with HighScores on par with Snapdragon & iphone scores. Where the Exynos2200 is taking a lead is in Stability, power Efficiency and higher Graphics performance in part do to its 4n RDNA2 SoC. Many mobile games are now being optimized for RDNA2 and once released ..well prepare to be impressed! Win win for consumers and MobileTech industry in general. Nice video..

Hey this comparison wasn't good to be honest. Right from the start, the benchmark shown clearly says that. Exynos device was supposed to be tested after giving it some time. BUt also it is clear that developers don't optimize apps for Exynos and hence Exynos will never be better in this comparison and will get unnecessary hate as usual.
thank you for the video! this was exactly what I was looking for, luckily my country has the snapdragon version which is huge for me since I really wanna play genshin on this device on the highest frames possible, a company like that should start work on their game optimization because from here and on this is only going get worst as each update goes by with heavier requirement and bad optimization .. but nice video
dude why not get consistent results of the tests like all other reviewers? I bet Exynos 2200 doesn't score that low that low in geekbench 5 in 95% of cases
The Exynos is very up and down dependent on what you have just dome and ambient temp, so no shock it got that score if it was already hot as it throttles like crazy.
@@andyH_England not the case look at the battery life exynos is 15 percent while snapdragon is above 70 so exynos is on battery saver 🤣🤣🤣 Please dislike this video
I didn't expect that. It's almost like the different SoCs use a different instruction set akin to CISC and RISC. But they don't but there must be something else like the apps seeing Exynos as a foreign entity and therefore not running it well. It's similar to how my S21 gets some messages from apps that this is an older app and that am I sure I want to run it. It really isn't that old but the phone is new.
Not even smooth + extreme in pubg in Exynos?? We're not even talking about hdr + extreme.. that's just ridiculous. Samsung really needs to do some serious work with regard to optimising games for Exynos chips.
The 2200 is actually better in Geekbench... You either did something to fake low performance or u have a bad unit. All other tests show like 50 points less for single core and 200 more for multi. You scores are impossible
Camera and video yesssssss. Specially the video stabilization, and do a battery test wifi on and with simcard in it. Also if you can include note 20 ultra snapdragon, will be waiting for it. I'm thinking about upgrading to snapdragon note 20 ultra, but depending on your test then I will decide
Nice video, please make a video on battery drain plus battery life on these.. I wanna buy s22 but only thing holding me back is it's battery life which I have heard sucks.. Currently using P30 pro Huawei
Thanks for making this video.. Should test other emulators such as Aethersx2 (for ps2) and Dolphin MMJ (gamecube/wii).. Etc. The issue with exynos is the GPU which underperforms quite heavily and in alot of cases just doesn't work with apps. I'm so frustrated with the idea of paying over 1k again for a subpar version. ( I have a note 10 plus exynos).
Only comfort fro Exynos users: Last year SD888 was better on launch than Exynos 2100, but after a year the Exynos 2100 aged better and performed better (see Golden Reviewer)
What the fuck there is clearly something wrong why your exynos unit perform bad i don't know Exynos 2200 scored 1150 in single and 3700 in multicore what the hell is wrong even the last year exynos 2100 scored 1000 single and 3400 multi And your exynos 2200 score 600 and 2000 there is something wrong !!!!
The reason compute performance is better on Exynos is because desktop GPUs are optimized for raw performance, while Adreno and specially Mali GPUs are optimized for efficient rendering. So the Exynos devices will suffer from far more throttling. Also, the photos made with the Exynos one look worse, it has a bad image processor.

Just tested my exynos 2200 s22 ultra using geekbench; single core=1178 / multi-core=3564 power mode was set to optimized, so it is on par with snapdragon. How you guys are getting such low scores I have no idea.
S22 ultra exynos gaming performance test ruclips.net/video/U9Ul5aoCIKM/видео.html
I feel like the difference is exaggerated these days. It's not as bad as what it use to be now
It's because the Exynos suffers from heavy throttling.
I know one thing for sure there's definitely something wrong with geek bench Exynos scores no way in hell it's that low i saw videos where 2200 easily scores 1100-1200 in single and around 3600-3700 in multi core
Yep that's what I am getting single core cpu on exynos is on par with snapdragon and beats it on multi-core and exynos absolutely destroys the snapdragon in gpu performance at least according to geekbench
I ran the Geekbench twice in my S22 Ultra Exynos 512/12 GB and the results are as follows :
TEST 1: Single Core : 1173, Multi Core : 3487
TEST 2: Single Core : 1165, Multi Core : 3498
yup, lets see that camera comparison. snapdragon looked like it had more contrast in every comparison you showed.
I call bullshit.. I just ran geekbench on my exynos 22 ultra and the scores are 1127 / 3493. Your results seem fake
Nice comparison mate👍. Waiting for camera comparison.
Finally thanks for the video!
There are very few gaming reviews on RUclips of the Exynos 2200 powered Galaxy S22 Ultra
Just threw a like for the Halo Infinite t-shirt. Love that freaking game like crazy!! Also upgrading to the Snapdragon 512Gb from my Note 10+. Can't wait for those cameras!!
Nice!
YES, do a camera comparison!!
Use a different exynos device, that one is definitely not a good example
Dude, you're a reviewer, you should pay more attention to what you do...
Your exynos Geekbench score is way off, do you watch or read any other tech content out there besides your own?
How could you take those scores seriously given that the exynos 2100 of last year had a ~1050/3400 score?
You seriously saw that and went "yeah, sounds about right, let's move on!" ??
A serious reviewer would have redone that benchmark lol
I think the tests should be redone after a month or two, software updates and optimizations for the games are crucial for both of the phones. Also a camera and battery test would be good! Your reviews are very good 👍
Finally! I have been looking for this comparison. Thanks man!!
@Booredatwork holy crap! Is this legit?
Was really waiting for this, thanks bro💖👏
YES camera comparison would be great just to see how computational photos are different with different CPU's based on exact same equipment!
Good video! Also lil typo, Eynos 🦐
1:57 Bro come on , dont do the exynos like that. It beats snapdragon in multi score with around 3800 depending on the other variables. Clearly you did smth wrong, charge the phone and do the test again at the same time not weeks apart.
Nah, exynos is just that bad
Killed it. Great 👍 explanation and video quality. Good work mate
The problem is the optimiser app on s22 devices the AI is very strong and even tells you its disabling stuff or apps i dont use
This year the exynos actually runs cooler than sd 8 gen 1 this is after the update esp when you use game launcher by samsung
Yes please. do a camera comparison. I'm turning on notification for this
You’re doing something very wrong here with the geek bench. I almost feel ur doing something on purpose to boost views. Exynos sucks but it’s never ever that bad when it comes to geekbench
It must be an issue with geekbench, my s21FE over here with Exynos 2100 gets around 1080 on single core and 3300 on multi
You're taking the SD side in my opinion..not a fair comparison ..in gaming Exynos is way better
No it's not, the exynos version is worse than even the a13 bionic according to tests
I'm using Fold 3 here in India which is spec'd with SD worldwide. But its great to see we don't have to struggle with exynos..
It's a brand new GPU architecture(RDNA2) for Android , Drivers are new and whenever they get mature(probably next year), It would require developers some effort to get the actual performance that the hardware is capable of
Actually it's a HUGE achievement for Samsung for now that it just works
I disagree. Samsung and AMD have been working on this for years now, and they're both professionals - there's no excuse for a product coming out half-baked. Either delay it or don't launch it if it's not ready. It clearly isn't ready and it shows.
@@GareWorks clearly you don't have any idea how this stuff works
It's as you said first. As many games not optimized for the GPU on the exynos version. It's on developers as usual. Adreno is more widely used so they develope for that first
Hello. Yes foto and overall comparison, would be nice. Thanks
Last years exynos was also better than the sd variant
@@imrankhan-ob3es yeah
Exynos is better im afraid the gpu destroys the snapdragon by thousands of points according to geekbench and the cpu is better in mult-core and on par in single core with the snapdragon, once apps and games are fully optimized to take advantage of the exynos its going to destroy snapdragon completely because it also produces less heat and is therefore more efficient aswell
I have no idea why you think exynos is better or where you've had this idea from because all the statistics and videos I've seen exynos are way inferior than snapdragon!!!!
@@method9787 you mind must opened and not overthinking for exynos inferior
Thank you great video and sure please do full camera comparison including video
Yes please make image comparison, both photography and video.
Excellent review as always. This really helped me decide which to go for. Also you kept calling black desert mobile, "black mobile desert". I was a little bit confused lol.
You need to re-upload your video to show proper test scores. Your Exynos device Geekbench CPU results are way out of whack my friend. I have just done the same test on my S22 Ultra (Exynos) twice and these are the lowest results:
Single Score: 1180 Multi-Core score: 3612
The OpenCL Score: 9040 (this was closer to your result but still, 500 points higher?!)
Something is not right with your device my friend.
Dan Daniels this looks like a scam
What is better actually? Exynos or Snapdragon?
Thx for dis video. It's very informative! ☝👌👍💪🙂
Thank you so much for the information, I love your non-biased honesty big time!!! RUclips just recently recommended your Video and I'm like where have you been my entire LIFE!!! I wish I could super LIKE your Videos!!! Great Video my man!!! Keep it UP!!!!
Definitely do a camera and battery test, keep up the good work bro
Your video quality is fantastic. Do you have other channel that teach how to shoot video like this?
Hey this comparison wasn't good to be honest. Right from the start, the benchmark shown clearly says that. Exynos device was supposed to be tested after giving it some time. BUt also it is clear that developers don't optimize apps for Exynos and hence Exynos will never be better in this comparison and will get unnecessary hate as usual.
Yeah
Nice video.
Yes please do a photo/video/stabilisation comparison between S22 Ultra Snapdragon VS Exynos, day and night.
Great video!
How is the vibration in your pockets? Did you miss notifications? Seen many users complaining, please reply. Thank you!
thank you for the video! this was exactly what I was looking for, luckily my country has the snapdragon version which is huge for me since I really wanna play genshin on this device on the highest frames possible, a company like that should start work on their game optimization because from here and on this is only going get worst as each update goes by with heavier requirement and bad optimization .. but nice video
Actually he used power save mode on they exynos 2200 wich decreases the performance check out another reviewer
@@AtlanticPOG oh really?
@@Name-bb8wo yup
@@Name-bb8wo other comments said that
dude why not get consistent results of the tests like all other reviewers? I bet Exynos 2200 doesn't score that low that low in geekbench 5 in 95% of cases
The Exynos is very up and down dependent on what you have just dome and ambient temp, so no shock it got that score if it was already hot as it throttles like crazy.
His exynos was on battery saver 🤣🤣🤣 he is a very bad RUclipsr please dislike the video
@@andyH_England not the case look at the battery life exynos is 15 percent while snapdragon is above 70 so exynos is on battery saver
🤣🤣🤣 Please dislike this video
@@andyH_England Another one making stuff up lmfao
The governor says energy aware not sure if maybe the exynos model was on power saving mode
In my region S22 series is available with SD 8 Gen1 but I would love to see camera comparison between Exyons and SD variant.
Is this giveaway real?
@@masteryashu unless you're a photographer by profession, the camera differences are not night and day
@@masteryashu scam
Thats on pubg developers and us
The 2200 is actually better in Geekbench... You either did something to fake low performance or u have a bad unit. All other tests show like 50 points less for single core and 200 more for multi. You scores are impossible
FINALLY FOUND THIS VIDEO RUclips WASNT RECOMMENDING IT
Good Quality videos... U also unbox S8 + & Ultra tabs 💥
Would definitely love to see a camera comparison
Incredible vidéo thank you !
I'm from the uk think I'll just import the snapdragon version with 1tb 👍
Where do u buy it from?
For the video comparison, i suggest to wait the beginning of march to get the camera software update too
Nice video, please make a video on battery drain plus battery life on these.. I wanna buy s22 but only thing holding me back is it's battery life which I have heard sucks.. Currently using P30 pro Huawei
Definitely I'm waiting for camera and battery comparison
What phone do we get then? I have the S20. And I said to myself I'd never buy another Exynos phone. After having one since the OG Galaxy S!
Its not thay bad though... Lucky u have a flagship phone there While me Only afford a mid range samsung phone after I broke my S9 plus
Camera comparison would be nice
The video we've been waiting for💪💪😍😍
Only comfort fro Exynos users:
Last year SD888 was better on launch than Exynos 2100, but after a year the Exynos 2100 aged better and performed better (see Golden Reviewer)
Those are just benchmarks.
Exynos 2100 came nowhere close to the Snapdragon 888 when playing heavy games
@@venator7889 nOwHeRe NeAr right lmao
Been waiting for this 🔥
that geekbench score isnt right there is a lot of footage and pictures of exynos getting 1100 single and 3700-3800 ish multi
What the fuck there is clearly something wrong why your exynos unit perform bad i don't know
Exynos 2200 scored 1150 in single and 3700 in multicore what the hell is wrong even the last year exynos 2100 scored 1000 single and 3400 multi
And your exynos 2200 score 600 and 2000 there is something wrong !!!!
Thanks for the video. How is the battery performance compared
Yeah please do camera comparison and battary also
Bro, when doing benchmarks please check what others are getting for reliability and so you know it’s right, before you upload something like this. It’s pretty clear that Geekbench Exynos score is not correct, even my 3 year old Exynos perform better than that.
Those were the benchmark I got and still am getting. Benchmarks are not everything as event with the snapdragon version doing well against the iPhone 13 pro max
It would be very interesting to see the difference in the camera and battery life
He uploaded!
Thanks for the right Info bro❤️
Please give us a camera comparison! You're awesome thanks
Camera please! I've subbed in anticipation, that's the main thing I want to know, finally getting the SD chip in my region, I want to know if the camera is superior now that it's finally here.
