I searched for a long time because the video in question is now 6 years old, meaning the cover was from 12 years ago. But I was determined to find it. I didn't find it; it's probably a video from a private cover playlist that I accessed. Unfortunately, sometimes we’re not the anime protagonist we always want to be for everything to work out for us, but in my case, I felt like a co-protagonist because I got a consolation prize. I found this and 2 other covers in the same playlist I mentioned. And here I am, appreciating this work of art sung by someone so talented that it made me want to write a comment this long just to say how I got here and, in the end, praise it with a single phrase. wow this has more sense and the lyrics sounds better. the Japanese version has the soul and rhythm but the actual meaning of the lyrics isn't as good as this version. Even my jlp teacher can't translate some "words" in english because she say that some words in japanese has no english equivalence and/or some people likes using phrases and idioms like proverbs. Some like playing with words only native japanese can understand.
