The way they made the first level house able to be explored from the basement to the attic, and then made level 2 the backyard all the way up to the top of the tree made the world feel so huge.
Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Tarzan, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro. Those are 5 legendary games that came to my mind first, compare them to the games nowadays, nothing gets close to how much fun these games brought to my childhood 😭
Thats the thing. None of those games had the graphics today's games had. But man were they fun. Most of today's games however, as good as their graphics were, try to be too realistic and not with an element to be whacky enough like a video game should.
Bro, I haven’t seen that game in AGES. My little brother was obsessed with it when it came out. 36 years old and I’m actually crying, remembering the days when games were simple AF, but still fun AF. Where did the time go?! 🤣😭
@RazsorFang97 Nice Childlike Memories we can be happy to have some of them still time went by now it's different much different i will probably redownload some old games EMULATOR wins!!

Btw I'm sorry for not including the return to Level 7 for the last chicken. You need the Hover Boots which you get on Level 13, and the last chicken is in the same room as Rex.
The robot in the first level always scared me to death, and the battle music it would suddenly play made it worse. My dad would help me out with the game a lot. It was very fun though and despite it not being a very open-world game, it still felt adventurous! The slime/trash monster was scary too... Okay the whole game was actually pretty scary at times...
That slime monster in level 6 scared me sh*tless as a kid because back then he was so difficult for me to beat. You had to shoot him A LOT of times before he got to you in order to cause damage, and that was difficult as a kid. A few years ago I bought the digital download for PS3 and, once again, I was scared sh*tless to face him because I felt like I absolutely had to beat him on the first try. I was about 25 years old xD
i was scared shitless when i came up to the attic and this robot was just chillin there but when i got on the platform thingy he lunged at me.. gosh the memories
Don’t really know how to explain it but watching this play through makes me feel really satisfied and fulfilled for some reason. I got this game when I was 4 years old back when it first released as an absolute toy story nut as a kid! So this game was a must, hearing all the sounds just makes me so happy. I guess that truly is the feeling of nostalgia
I just watched Toy Story 4 today, I was emotional. Then I remember I used to play this game for hours on end when I was a teenager. I just want to play it one more time. I'm like Woody, parting with my childhood and goes into adulthood.
I played Toy Story for the SNES, Toy Story 2 for the PS1 and Toy Story 3 for the X360/PS3 and they are all excellent games. I'm sad that Toy Story 4 will not get a tie-in game like the others :(

Alejandro Cruz Parra Alejandro Cruz Parra All the levels after 5 are new to me. Apart from level 11, for some reason i remember parts of that like the train room. My dad must have been playing.

Believe it or not this game was how I found out about the Toy Story franchise and ultimately fell in love with the movies. I was around 8 or 9 at that time and my brother had given me some cash to go and pick 1 ps1 game of my choice and for some reason the cover for this game stood out so I chose it. And believe me it was the best decision of my life. Not only is this game a wonderful experience but it made me love the Toy Story franchise and regard it as my number 1 disney pixar movie of all time.
Sound effects and the total atmosphere of the game in this video is bare nostalgic. Thanks to this I can show my 8 year old Fortnite obsessed nephew what games we had the privilege to play as kids,. One night I heard my wife playing TS2 at 3:00am. It was and is the only video game she has ever played. Our entire family loved it. The only thing we were disappointed in was the ending after beating the final boss. All of us were "What?..."
Man, this was one of my FAVORITE computer games as a little girl! My little bro and I would take turns playing the game while our father either watched or helped out. We’d laugh at all the shenanigans onscreen, defeat bosses together, and just have a grand ol’ time. The last level we played together was the one where we had to defeat Zurg - and at the time, neither of us could figure out how to beat him! It was so hard! It wasn’t until years later that we finally figured it out, and it was only when my brother picked up the game again that we finally beat Zurg and finished what we started…. MAN, those were fun times! 😂😭
Wow, I was 9 or 10 when we got this game. We had it for Windows 98 PC and had a joystick configured to it to make the combat more fun. I can still remember so many of these levels and the locations of the tokens. I remember jumping off the highest points in the construction zone and the elevator shaft to see how big a fall Buzz could take. And I remember that feeling when I finally got the final pizza planet token. Easily one of my favorite games growing up. Thanks for uploading this.
It's a common thing nowadays but, back then, having really tall spots in videogames was *mind-blowing* . Reaching the top of the tree in level 2, being able to look down at the entire scenery, and then jumping down... that sh*t would make you feel VERTIGO back then!
I miss being a kid...I used to come home from school and play this everyday after dinner. This games graphics were insane for its time and now we've got games that look like real life. Absolutely crazy
I used to play this game when I was 7 years old. 7 years old man.. I still remember everything. Even though I never got passed the part where you had to mix colors lol
Kudos to the level designers for being so creative. I genuinely believe this game helped to foster creative thinking in me, when I was a child. I kept thinking how all of my real life surroundings could be used as levels.
Yes we all do. Everyone who played this game fullest is able to see Buzz Lightyear running around jumping and climbing, and think about where pizza planet tokens,Hamm,Rex,Slinky dog,mr potatohead are.
I distinctly remember loving the bit where you flood AL’s penthouse by running the tap for 3 seconds and casually drowning ham in the bath who does not react at all to being submerged at the bottom of the tub.
Love this game to bits but it was a childhood nightmare fest, took me years to beat it just because it scared the shit out of me. I remember playing this game for the PC! Oh boy how time flies. Pretty sure my copy of the game accidentally got snapped. I loved playing that game. Shame I only got far to the construction yard.
I just randomly remembered this game. I forgot what the title was but I finally found it. I played this game a long time ago and I barely remember it lmao
one of my favourite games, I replay it yearly once or twice and often have music from it playing in my head at random times to this day. I love this game. it is incredibly nostalgic for me also. Toy story racer very much too. I wish there were more games where you are a toy dude. The buzz lightyear game is also very nice.
When this game was first released (PC CD-ROM), 9/11 hadn’t happened yet. 20 years later, and the world has changed so much that I don’t even recognize it. But it’s nice getting to relive a small piece of my childhood. Thanks.
The attemtion to detail in this game is impressive for a game of its time, especially considering that this was a movie tie in. Shame THQ is no longer around

holy thanks a lot for unlocking some of my best memories I ve never thought i had, i couldn't make it past level 12 but when i played it all those years ago i was prob like 5-7 yo
Most movie games are shit, but this one is a masterpiece. One of my favorite PS1 games.
All Toy Story games (1 for the SNES/Genesis, and 3 for Xbox 360/PS3) are solid titles
So many happy memories playing this game. Weird how familiar it is even after all these years. Thanks for uploading. Also can I just say what an amazing soundtrack the whole game has!
The music on these levels brings back some many memories
I'm so glad people have videos of these old games so I can reminisce
Oh what memories!! It was such a nice little game! I loved the movies back then and I remember having a really good time playing this!!
Dude..the graphics in this game for a PS1 title are damn good.
Justo en la infancia :') este es unos de mis juegos favoritos de PS1
Lo jugaba cuando tenía 6 años ahora tengo 23
Literal es un juegazo la play 1 me dio muchisimas alegrias
Such nostalgia, I know the game by heart and after seeing you play the first level I got up and started looking for my copy of the game
How good was this game for 1999😍😍
As a kid I only got up to the slime boss because it terrified me. Re-bought the game a few years ago and finally completed it. Good times.
Al's Penthouse Soundtrack is so good !
Wow this is such a big part of my childhood, ik loved this game so much! Seeing it again after years makes me wanna buy a ps1 and get the game again. Tempting!!!
Warning: in this video, nostalgy hits you hard!
one of my favourite games, I replay it yearly once or twice and often have music from it playing in my head at random times to this day. I love this game. it is incredibly nostalgic for me also. Toy story racer very much too. I wish there were more games where you are a toy dude. The buzz lightyear game is also very nice.
That old Traverlers Tales intro gets me everytime (;
This game has a special place in my heart. I still play through it sometimes
Holy shit why this game has those awesome soundtracks? Al's Penthouse theme is just beautiful
20 years later here i am.. remembering every second of it..
Never realized how long these levels could be if you do everything
So many great memories from this game. I miss being a child.
The jackhammer boss is the sole reason for anxiety in my adult life
😩...it's like something out of a nightmare. Where you're running and it ends up right behind you. Lol
Man the nostalgia :') Thanks for the video, I loved this game so much as a kid. My fav level was alleys and gullies
53:26 look at buzz’s left eye. Looks like he got stung by a bee or got punched by someone lol
When this game was first released (PC CD-ROM), 9/11 hadn’t happened yet. 20 years later, and the world has changed so much that I don’t even recognize it. But it’s nice getting to relive a small piece of my childhood. Thanks.
Jesus nostalgia is strong in this one...I rember that like for few months only thing I was doing is playing this game
Yesterday I fell asleep while watching YT and somehow woke up to this xD love it
This game used to get me so confused and mad but it was fun and interesting at the same time
wow, I didn't even know had memories of playing this game! what a nice surprise!
The attemtion to detail in this game is impressive for a game of its time, especially considering that this was a movie tie in. Shame THQ is no longer around
Dobra robota 💪. Gra z dzieciństwa 😊
best game in the history of human kind
OMG I LOVE THIS GAME!!! I played it since I was 2 years old! Brings back so many good memories
