Sa mga kakapasa din po sa training, you have to take note of penalties and cancellation of classes. This is coming from my own experience. - It is your responsibility to check if the slots you have opened are already booked (Ito nangyari sa akin na hindi ko expect na first day na first day magkakabooking na kaagad ako, and I assumed na ma-nonotify ako if someone booked my class. This led to me not attending several classes kaya ang dami kong penalty because I opened around 7 time slots for that day.) - For penalties, malaki laki siya. Sa “with notice” cancellations meaning ni-cancel mo siya in advance, 20 pesos madededuct sa overall salary mo per class… Pero if more than 5 na ang ni-cancel mo, magiging 60 pesos ang madededuct per class. - For without notice naman (yung hindi ka nagshow up, which was what happened to me, times 2, yes times 2 ang bawas 😭, tapos times 3 naman kapag more than 5 classes ang na cancel “without notice.” Just something to keep in kind especially if you just got accepted and don’t know what to expect! Pero, ganunpaman, mabilis lang din siya mabawi. Kasi madami talagang stufents ang engoo, and normally ma-bbook ang mga slots na ni-open niyo. :D Soo ayun! Happy teaching!!

This would surely help a lot, and you explained it clearly. I'm so sorry for what happened, yes you're right Engoo has a very high booking rate, I'm just lucky that hours in advance and refresh the site coz I'm curious about the booking rate, so I found out that I have to prepare for classes since I'm already fully booked on the first day. I thought it's like my experience in my previous company that it took me more than a month to experience full bookings. Happy na nabawi mo rin ang mga penalties, lalo na siguro kung naabutan mo yong incentives recently, I think that was April of this year, not sure parang holiday yon sa Japan, yong golden week ba yon???, basta naging 100pesos/class yon grabeh, nag 10hrs talaga ako per day from my normal na 5 hours. AHAHHA..

Actually, the decision for salary increase depends on the management not on teachers' KPIs. Previously, the rate was Php45/class or Php 90/hr. Let's hope and pray that the management will be more generous this year for another increase.

hi, yes. ang bilis lang po mag close or cancel sa mga slots na wala naman nagbook. Sing bilis ng chismisan sa kanto.. hihi. joke lang po. Sing bilis po ng kung gaano kabilis mag plot ng sked po.
So, according to what I understood, there are two brackets I can apply for depending on whether I have a single source of income or multiple sources of income called "8% Tax" and "Graduated Income Tax" respectively-the former being for earners of less that ₱250,000 a year and the latter for earners of more than that. From what I understood, the "0% tax" of the "8% Tax" bracket is only applicable to the quarterly filing of taxes (which, of course, I still need to file every three months), while the "8%" in the said bracket's name is applicable to the annual filing of taxes. So, for example, if I earn exactly ₱250,000 gross income for the whole year, I will be taxed 8% of that, which is ₱20,000, annually. Am I correct in understanding this? Thank you.

As for the result of your Language test, it takes 1 to 7 days. They'll send it through the email you used in the registration.

Hi, teach. Thanks for the support. There's no limit po. As long as you can have 1 class within 90 days, you're still considered as an active tutor. Wala namang maximum, as long as kaya mo at di ma compromise ang teaching quality mo.

Tax Information ID or TIN is only required for Filipino tutors. What do you mean by credit card? Ay, you mean credentials or diploma? Am I right? In general, 1 validation ID is the only requirement to apply.
Hi, TIN is the only requirement in Engoo for Philippine tutor. So if you don't have TIN, then you cannot be activated as a tutor. You will only be given 20days to comply your TIN. Just the number, not necessarily the ID. You can submit the valid forms to prove that you already secured a TIN.

Hi. Did you already register your gcash to Engoo? If yes, then as for the payout, there is no notification directly from Engoo. It's only a notification from GCASH via text that you received a certain amount from Bibo Global, which is Engoo.

Hi, teach. What I know is that Native speakers will have 2 to 3 $ salary rate per class. I don't know about your case tbh. I highly suggest you ask engoo recruitment. You can reply to their emails they are very kind and responsive.
Hi, yes you surely can. Engoo is perfect for you coz you are in full control of your own class schedule. There's also no limit in the no. of classes the minimum is to have 1 class within 3 months in order to be an active tutor.

I am now planning to apply but I am 4 months pregnant now, do Engoo hires a pregnant applicant I am able to work naman kahit hanggang sa Due Date ko since home based naman, and well-suited with their Quailifications.
Yes, they accept pregnants. They won't ask about your status actually. In Engoo, it's also very flexible. You can book anytime you want. No qoutas. Just have atleast 1 class every 90 days to remain as active tutor. Hoping for the best in your application. Stay safe and healthy

Hi. First of all, congratulations and welcome to Engoo. I understand what made you worried it's because the "payment option" is not real-time. It only updates when the cut-off is near. That's something Engoo needs to improve. I hope they're working on it. Anyways, one thing that can assure you that your work is being credited is by checking the "Lessson History" try to explore that part, choose the dates where you had classes and check the no. of classes if it matches to your actual classes. Then you can multiply it with your salary rate per class. So that you'll know how much salary you can expect. If you completed 100 classes without lates or cancelations, add 1000 pesos, if you're a Filipino though, I'm not sure of the rate in dollars, that's Engoo's bonus per cut-off. Then again, if you're a Filipino, subtract 10% for tax. That's how we compute our salary. You can set an excel to that. 😊

BUT, since power interruption po yong case nyo, wala pong penalty AS LONG AS, contakin nyo po as soon as possible ang Tutor Support about what happened po. Tapos hingan kayo nyan ng proof about sa power interruption, like posting po ba sa fb ng power company na may power interruption, tapos send po kayo ng Screenshot sa Tutor support, if wala pong posting, mag message or tawagan nyo ang power company para makahingi kayo ng memo about sa power interruption. Then, if approve na po ng Tutor support, tatangalin na po ng Tutor Support and "Cancelled with Penalty", magiging "Cancelled" nalang na color pink, meaning walang penalty.

Base on google, it's around 1 to 1.15usd. Coz, it already inceased to 65php. If you're a native English speaker, then you have a higher salary rate. Not sure about the rate but it's around 2usd per 30 mins class

This includes the following situations: The tutor cancelled the lesson or sent a cancellation request for any reason before the lesson start time The tutor sent a cancellation request during the lesson time due to any reason The tutor connected within the first 3 minutes, but was disconnected from the Lesson Page for more than 5 accumulated minutes The tutor did not connect within the first 3 minutes, but has informed TS about it within the lesson time

I mean hindi pa ako married nun maiden name pa nkalagay. i-update ko rin naman parang I heard lng na matagal daw magprocess tin id? not sure though Syanga pla I tried to update it before, sabi ko wala lng po para may valid ID lng ako at para ready na kung kailangan. Ang sabi saka na daw ako bumalik pag need sa trabaho haha.
You have the same case as a mine, nag apply ka na ba teach? As in the same talaga, like mag uupdate sana ako sa BIR kaso di daw pwede wait nalang daw na magkatrabaho ulit. Uu, matagal ang process, lalo na sa akin na change RDO, kasi sa ibang city ako nag open ng TIN now nasa another city ako. I have to options for you teach. 1. If OK lang sayo na may TAX ibabawas sa sahud mo, din wag ka nalang muna mag-update ng TIN, meaning during application, gamitin mo muna ang maiden status mo, pati valid ID, yong maiden muna, sa pag fill-up ng name sa registration, yong maiden name muna, para pag nakapasa ka na, tsaka pa kasi i rerequire ang TIN, so since maiden ang binigay mo during application, mag mamatch xa sa TIN mo at makapag start ka ng mag-class. Di din pala mag change ang name sa BIR, ang status lang, kasi ang TIN good as for your maiden name parin eh. 2. Second option, which is ang ginagawa ko. BTW, you will be given 30 days by Engoo to process your TIN right after being hired. I change RDO and updated my status sa BIR, from single to married, then nag apply ako for from employed to self-employed as requirement for COR and SD. COR and SD are the 2 requirements by Engoo for tax exemption.

Pwede ka kasing mag pa special tag, kung gusto mo mga bata magiging student mo. Say, for kids tag ka. Ako wala, so all ages napupunta sa akin.

Yong bellbird lang po ang tool, di po xa software na i dadownload pa, kasi web base ang bellbird. So, magaan lang po sa computer, in fact, 1MBPS internet lang via Tokyo server ang minimum requirement. Yes po, may lesson notes din na required. Pero mas kunti lang need na notes sa Engoo, compared sa acadsoc. Sa Engoo, 2 sentences at 2 words lang need po. Sa Acadsoc po kayo now? Dati po ako sa acadscoc, 1 yr at 4 months. 45 pesos lang ako per class, narinig ko ang Engoo, 60 pesos, so nag resign ako sa acad. Gusto ko din sa Engoo dahil majority adults, nauubos kasi energy ko sa Acadsoc, puro bata. Sa Engoo, kahit may bata, di nila kailan i baby, di mo kailan ng effects at bongang props, kasi straight to the lesson ang mga kid student sa Engoo.

Just bear in mind that as for the demo, make sure to follow the steps completely. From greetings, system check, intro, ... feedback. These steps will be given during the training. That is most of what they will look for, aside from having a stable internet connection. Make sure to also take care of that.

So, according to what I understood, there are two brackets I can apply for depending on whether I have a single source of income or multiple sources of income called "8% Tax" and "Graduated Income Tax" respectively-the former being for earners of less that ₱250,000 a year and the latter for earners of more than that.
From what I understood, the "0% tax" of the "8% Tax" bracket is only applicable to the quarterly filing of taxes (which, of course, I still need to file every three months), while the "8%" in the said bracket's name is applicable to the annual filing of taxes. So, for example, if I earn exactly ₱250,000 gross income for the whole year, I will be taxed 8% of that, which is ₱20,000, annually.

What do you mean by credit card? Ay, you mean credentials or diploma? Am I right? In general, 1 validation ID is the only requirement to apply.

What happens if you don’t submit your TIN?
Hi, TIN is the only requirement in Engoo for Philippine tutor. So if you don't have TIN, then you cannot be activated as a tutor. You will only be given 20days to comply your TIN. Just the number, not necessarily the ID. You can submit the valid forms to prove that you already secured a TIN.

Hi. Did you already register your gcash to Engoo? If yes, then as for the payout, there is no notification directly from Engoo. It's only a notification from GCASH via text that you received a certain amount from Bibo Global, which is Engoo.

Hi, yes you surely can. Engoo is perfect for you coz you are in full control of your own class schedule. There's also no limit in the no. of classes the minimum is to have 1 class within 3 months in order to be an active tutor.

Hi. First of all, congratulations and welcome to Engoo. I understand what made you worried it's because the "payment option" is not real-time. It only updates when the cut-off is near. That's something Engoo needs to improve. I hope they're working on it. Anyways, one thing that can assure you that your work is being credited is by checking the "Lessson History" try to explore that part, choose the dates where you had classes and check the no. of classes if it matches to your actual classes. Then you can multiply it with your salary rate per class. So that you'll know how much salary you can expect. If you completed 100 classes without lates or cancelations, add 1000 pesos, if you're a Filipino though, I'm not sure of the rate in dollars, that's Engoo's bonus per cut-off. Then again, if you're a Filipino, subtract 10% for tax. That's how we compute our salary. You can set an excel to that. 😊

Hi. Confirmation email will supposedly be received in an instant. We never experienced such scenario as yours. My theory is maybe you inputed a wrong email during the registration or try looking for the Confirmation in the spam messages.

BUT, since power interruption po yong case nyo, wala pong penalty AS LONG AS, contakin nyo po as soon as possible ang Tutor Support about what happened po. Tapos hingan kayo nyan ng proof about sa power interruption, like posting po ba sa fb ng power company na may power interruption, tapos send po kayo ng Screenshot sa Tutor support, if wala pong posting, mag message or tawagan nyo ang power company para makahingi kayo ng memo about sa power interruption. Then, if approve na po ng Tutor support, tatangalin na po ng Tutor Support and "Cancelled with Penalty", magiging "Cancelled" nalang na color pink, meaning walang penalty.

Filipino tutors’ payments are credited twice a month. The cut-off periods are as follows:
a. 6th to the 20th of the month (Payment is on the last day of the month)
Example:
Cut off Period - January 6 at 0:00 JPT to January 20 at 23:30 JPT
Payment on - January 31
b. 21st of the month to the 5th of the following month (Payment is on the 15th of the following month)
Example:
Cut off Period - January 21 at 0:00 JPT to February 5 at 23:30 JPT
Payment on - February 15
If payday falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, it will then be credited on Friday or the last working day before it is to be released.

What if you cancelled one of your lessons like hours before due to personal matter, there would be any deductions?
Hi, Shaina. Thanks for dropping by, if that class is already booked, then you cancelled with no valid reason, then you will be penalized. You should inform the Tutor Support ahead of time or during the time, so that it will be a "cancelled with notice" so that it and will result in a reduced cancellation penalty. This includes the following situations:
The tutor cancelled the lesson or sent a cancellation request for any reason before the lesson start time
The tutor sent a cancellation request during the lesson time due to any reason
The tutor connected within the first 3 minutes, but was disconnected from the Lesson Page for more than 5 accumulated minutes
The tutor did not connect within the first 3 minutes, but has informed TS about it within the lesson time
Is there is a rating system? Do the student rate you after every class?

Hello teacher, can I use the TIN ID even it is not updated yet? I mean hindi pa ako married nun maiden name pa nkalagay. i-update ko rin naman parang I heard lng na matagal daw magprocess tin id? not sure though
Syanga pla I tried to update it before, sabi ko wala lng po para may valid ID lng ako at para ready na kung kailangan. Ang sabi saka na daw ako bumalik pag need sa trabaho haha.
You have the same case as a mine, nag apply ka na ba teach? As in the same talaga, like mag uupdate sana ako sa BIR kaso di daw pwede wait nalang daw na magkatrabaho ulit. Uu, matagal ang process, lalo na sa akin na change RDO, kasi sa ibang city ako nag open ng TIN now nasa another city ako.
I have to options for you teach.
1. If OK lang sayo na may TAX ibabawas sa sahud mo, din wag ka nalang muna mag-update ng TIN, meaning during application, gamitin mo muna ang maiden status mo, pati valid ID, yong maiden muna, sa pag fill-up ng name sa registration, yong maiden name muna, para pag nakapasa ka na, tsaka pa kasi i rerequire ang TIN, so since maiden ang binigay mo during application, mag mamatch xa sa TIN mo at makapag start ka ng mag-class. Di din pala mag change ang name sa BIR, ang status lang, kasi ang TIN good as for your maiden name parin eh.
2. Second option, which is ang ginagawa ko. BTW, you will be given 30 days by Engoo to process your TIN right after being hired. I change RDO and updated my status sa BIR, from single to married, then nag apply ako for from employed to self-employed as requirement for COR and SD. COR and SD are the 2 requirements by Engoo for tax exemption.

Try nyo po muna peak hours lang muna, like 6am to 10am. Or 6pm to 12mid night. Tapos mas damihan mo sa weekends.

Yes, meron na po akong existing TIN and yes pwede pong magfile ng 0% tax for self-employed pero kung di nyo po kayang magfile sa lugar kung saan kayo kumuha dati, mag process po muna kayo ng transfer of branch. Pwede nyo po gawin online, or tawagan nyo po yong dati nyong branch.

I see. I'm not sure po, ako po kasi dati na may TIN. Pero don't worry po, i rerequire lang naman po ang TIN pag meron na hire na po kayo. For now, pwede nyo po muna gamitin ang School ID nyo po, during the Language Test. Then, pag makapasa na po kayo, bibigyan po kayo ng instruction paano po kumuha ng TIN.

Try nyo na po mag apply. Madali lang, basta ok ang mga basic equipments mo, pwedeng manghiram ka muna. Ganyan ako dati, nanghiram lang ako laptop at web camera. Tapos yong install now pay later ng PLDT inapply ko, tapos ang headset ko yong pinaka mura lang. Pwede lang din earphone ang gamitin sa Engoo.
Nag start ako sa Acadsoc kasi halos mga bata ang student, ang dami din nilang free trainings, kaso need mo talaga mag invest time. Pero super helpful yon lahat sa akin, kaya di ako maxado nahirapan pagdating ko sa Engoo.

Yong bellbird lang po ang tool, di po xa software na i dadownload pa, kasi web base ang bellbird. So, magaan lang po sa computer, in fact, 1MBPS internet lang via Tokyo server ang minimum requirement. Yes po, may lesson notes din na required. Pero mas kunti lang need na notes sa Engoo, compared sa acadsoc. Sa Engoo, 2 sentences at 2 words lang need po. Sa Acadsoc po kayo now? Dati po ako sa acadscoc, 1 yr at 4 months. 45 pesos lang ako per class, narinig ko ang Engoo, 60 pesos, so nag resign ako sa acad. Gusto ko din sa Engoo dahil majority adults, nauubos kasi energy ko sa Acadsoc, puro bata. Sa Engoo, kahit may bata, di nila kailan i baby, di mo kailan ng effects at bongang props, kasi straight to the lesson ang mga kid student sa Engoo.
