Hey Jeff Yeah its actually profitable for me with the FPGA on Kaspa at the moment with 15c KWH elec rate here in Australia. But saying that they can be expensive purchases, thus making money back might take a while especially in the bull run. But ill be tracking it, so hope to make a vid in the future also.
@@2ndtlmining Awesome, I am suprised that there is even a set up for kaspa I looked in to eth ones a couple years back and they were impossinble to find or get info on? I am at 1bout 19c KWH and I shut my miners off about a month ago, I did buy a couple of small asics but do miss it!
@@guitarjeff5775 Yeah team red miner supports it or at least released the bitstream for it if you use their miner. Works pretty well, there is a 10% dev fee atm.
Cool.. that was mining KAS @ 1.3gh more than my 4090 + 1080ti running a steamy 560w and only running at 130w.... Guess I'll have to get 10 of these fpga's and figure out how to program it myself and keep that 10% fee lol
Thanks for watching. At this stage TRM only as ETH and KAS. This is the drawback with FPGA's as the bitstreams are hard to get. I hope we can get more in the future, why i am happy to pay the dev fee for TRM so they can hopefully add more. Thanks for the watching and the feedback. Yeah think the Osprey unit is about 5k USD atm and since the C1100 is about $2.2k. I have not heard anything bad so possibly is the better option. Ospreys service on the fan i got was fantastic.
@@2ndtlmining Yes, I bought 2 of the E300's and it was smooth sailing, no hookups, wiring or any OS to deal with. Works like a standard ASIC style interface.

Great video. Ty for sharing info on discord. BASICALLY if it’s your first boot you have to put in certain commands in your flightsheet for it to update your firmware. You must be careful during this process and let it finish or you can brick your card. It will run in hiveos and on a riser.

Thanks for watching mate. Don't think it is designed to be passively cooled at all. Without any mod suspect you need it in a server case with air going through the little chambers. Why I needed to do something if it's on a open air rig
it probably needs 16x pcie lane, thinking of investing on FPGA's but always pulling back :D i am sure you can make 4 of this fpga's in a rig with threadripper and 4 x pcie16x lane
