I like the stock cooler though, it is intended for server cases with very very high RPM fans :$ Congratulations and looking forward to your results with that FPGA hardware :)
You might have to make your own. Either the blower style laptop cooler or open stock on up and put a 120mm directly on heatsink images.app.goo.gl/mfSToGMygc5Z3ubM6
Serpent will you make a video for the Osprey cooler install? I just recently bought one I’m using the 3d printed fan it’s loud as F. I have the Osprey cooler as well but I received one and it was destroyed in shipping. Reach out to get a replacement they sent me another and the same thing happened again.
Yes I already recorded but won't be published till next week or thr following. Also if the heat sink is solid, just take off plastic shroud and strap a 120mm or two fans to it and you will be fine
careful with the Osprey cooler. Doesn't look like it makes any contact with VRM's and caps. May want to install some copper ramsinks onto components that need it (if they will fit)
@SerpentX Tech Sorry, I missed that part. I've ordered a couple of different bloweer fans I'm going to try out, including a Fox-2 off Aliexpress (saw one guy using a fox-1). As for the stock cooler, it seems like the gap between die/HBM2 and the coldplate is larger than typical. I'll likely try either PTM7950, Upsiren UX Pro, or TH949-1 for that matter, for the die and HBM2. Might use Upsiren U6 Pro everywhere else.
Lol sorry bud, Hive OS "How to Setup" Wed, but got to wait. However, I already gave a sneak at hash and power on a Short released Sunday. Go check it out
Selling that RTX 4090 will be far away more easy. Good luck selling a FPGA or any specialized hardware if the project it is intended for burns down into flames lol
@@blackmennewstyle Do you understand the Field Programable part of the FPGA acronym? These are not ASICS. You can change the algos and hash at a higher rate (usually) than GPU's.
@dontsupportrats4089 and all, I bought this because I plan on doing more than just kaspa and learning more about Bitstreams. It's gonna be hard, but I am down to learn. This FPGA sips power, and the 4090 doesn't, plus as the gentleman said, it's programmable and not locked to one thing.
Typos make your comment hard to read, but more carrots I mean content on how to get it working in HiveOS and aftermarket cooler install plus thermal throughout the next couple of weeks
You may have missed this, is why you said what you said. But maybe this was the "Droids you were looking for." ruclips.net/user/shortsqB05nWxuLns?feature=share
Great video Nice to see the card up front ..thanks!
Well, before I modded it, lol more to come

Do you know where I can find a cooler for the card? Ospery is sold out

I bought one of these and never used it. Even bought the Osprey Cooler and it's just sitting here collecting dust.

Exactly my thinking and why I mentioned it.

@snarksdomain3453 no worries, good info and thanks. Let us know of things turn out
I want content !! What's the hash , what the power , what the price , I want as much INFO on it as you can gave !

Nice 👍🏻 ❤
Wouldn't that $1600 be better spent on a rtx 4090?🤔
FPGA = Field Programmable Gate Array = GPU on 80's wrestling steroids. Hash rate's should be higher than a GPU by quite a bit. Should be.

@@blackmennewstyle Exactly my point
And you just can't beat the versatility of a gpu

nice
😮 Jealous
Nah bud, don't be, it is fun to learn. This is not my first FPGA but it is the first useful one
You do not get a LIKE ! Win you show me a CARROT but just gave me a SHARP STICK in the eye ! AKA no content !!

Is there something you were specifically looking for that I may be able to accommodate?
