Unfortunately, my parents were of the greatest generation and didn't participate in any of these things. And I was to young for the first part of the 70's and by the later part of the 70's I was living up in the mountains in Northern California. So I lived far from any big town where I would be able to enjoy doing anything that other young person did. Now, I do remember our station wagon and I even drove it. Unfortunately I was 12 and still to young to get my driver's license. But I do remember driving it and it was fun. Thank you for sharing this video and bring back sweet memories for me. I'm more a hippie than anything else.

*You should be a little more careful with these "historical" references. The Vietnam protests did last into the 1970s, but by 1972 they had pretty much become unnecessary. Most of this was from 1967 through 1971.*
*Tie Dyeing was a 60's thing. While they were sold commercially in the early 70's, the real ones (the ones you made at home in the bathtub) were very definitely a 60's item, starting in roughly 1964.*

@mediamike693 I recall asking for one for my birthday when I was 5. My dad took me to the backyard and told me to pick a rock I picked a rather sparkly Rock. What I picked out was a mica rock very common here in Northeastern Pennsylvania. My dad told me that's your pet rock. I still have my pet rock Harry to this day. He has an honorary position in my hanging printer's drawer in my kitchen. My pet rock was free
