The move was a masterpiece but it was so sad am gonna explain why So I think he was manipulated or something to go to a black hole idk what kind it but all I know is that they said something placed it there he went inside of it then fell into neptune which when they spent 1 hour there it will be 7 years in earth one of his friends betrayed him and nearly killed him he lost 3 or 4 of his friends nearly every family members he had died he got lost and went into sone kind of. Deminsion he saw he's daughter he started banging on the book shelf so the book would fall and she will notice him eventually she did she realised he was the ghost that was haunting him all along even he was the one that was haunting her he only had one family member left which was his daughter that was hundreds of hundreds years old she believed that he will still come back he did tho but I think what I said was right some of the things I said doesn't make sense you can watch the move to understand it better

The story of a father debating to save the earth or his child truly heart breaking
Saving the Earth was the only way to save his child though unfortunately so it was never really a choice.
