Yep! Big time. Sold Triple Crown as fast as I could lol, took almost 3 years.
Wow. I'm about to buy a V:35. Then somehow ran into the Bogners and found this. I know Bogner is a big name, but this amp seems underrated and underhyped? Like, Friedman's taking all the attention these days. I like that this has 3 channels. I like to have cleans, overdrive and high-gain. With 2 channel amps I have to run a clean, crunch and increase to high-gain with a Tubescreamer. This seems to be a better option. I did consider the Triple Crown for the 3 channels, but reviews are very mixed on it. Some love it, some hate it.
@@PinchTune This bogner is imo, miles ahead of the mark. My opinion.
@@rrguitar1 Thanks for the feedback. The EL34s alone mean a lot. Plus, 3 channels. And it's only about, what? $150 more than the Mark V:35? I wonder why it isn't as popular.
BLUE Channel Low gain ??
What is that you're riffing on at the 2 minute mark?
Random riff
I love it man!!! how many watt is it?
thmz83 Think it’s about 40 watts
This or mesa tc100?
Have you had any issues with noise coming from the loop?
Do you still have this? Looking at this for an upgrade to my 5150ii 6l6 50 watt.
I do not. Would still recommend it if you dig the sounds in this clip
Podrías contarme si es verdad que el bucle de fx es ruidoso ?
I believe that has been fixed
@@blakemansfield2356como lo han solucionado? Podrías ayudarme con más información por que bogner no me da respuesta
Is this a good amp for getting that solo tone from Hard to Handle by The Black Crowes? That tone always made me think of Bogner, so fat and chewy.
I know for sure that later on one of the cats in Black Crowes definitely used a Bogner Ecstasy live. Killer tones.
@@TheAlexRude absolutely. Do you think this amp captures those Black Crowes tones like the 101B? But quieter?
@@jjnewbold I have an Ecstasy Classic that I LOVE and it definitely can get that tone without having to crank it up too loud. Just like the one above. I am guessing that BC probably used an old Marshall Plexi or something along those lines to get the tone that's on the record. But who can dime out a Plexi on stage or at home without pissing off the sound engineer or your neighbors? Or go deaf in the process?
@@TheAlexRude the ecstacy seems to have more low-mid chewiness than classic Marshalls. The Laundry amps do the low volume thing so well, but sound very Van Halen, lots of top end and harmonics. I don't know if they would get me there.
I am a Gibson guy and i want to thank you for this nice video. Do you still enjoy that amp? Any problems??
Jerry W No problems. Great amp but not THE amp for me.
@@blakemansfield2356 What is your number 1 amp these days?
Jerry W Goldfinger SL and JMP2203 are what I have. I love both for different reasons. The GF SL is really special
@@blakemansfield2356 You are a great player. I love your videos. You rock! Where are you from?
Jerry W I’m in Virginia Beach 🏖
How is the effects loop on this amp? Is it noisy at all? Thanks Sounds Great!
Don’t think I ever used the loop
@@blakemansfield2356 ok thanks
This is a crazy question I know... But, do you remember which own hammer ir you were using? It sounds fantastic!
I don’t remember the exact one for sure but it’s the Bogner 4x12 V30. I almost always use OH1 or OH2 so likely one of those two
@@blakemansfield2356 thanks. I have that pack I'll have to try it out.
You think green mode is good enough for crystal Fenderlish , otherwise it has its own sonic character ? Accept pedals well? Awesome demo...
very nice demo man! what software are you using to upload the IR's?
Nice playing Blake! I managed to snatch one of these for myself too, it’s a great sounding amp! Have you tried using the fx loop? I find there’s a considerable amount of hiss from mine, when the loop is engaged. Have you noticed that on yours?
Viljami Aittomäki I never did notice that at all. Did you get it figured out?
Killer. What cab are you running it through?
Thanks dude- using a Suhr RL with a V30 from Ownhammer
Blake Mansfield just ordered one, it will be here next week! Trying to determine the best 4x12 cab to pair with. Thinking of a V30 loaded Bogner 4x12 or an Uberkab. What do you think?
Guitar Shredder Damn dude you aren’t playing around! Hard to say concerning which cab. I’d personally prob go with all V30s or the Helios cab which is Greenbacks on top and V30s on bottom ala Friedman
@@BlackYetiWhite Go with the Bogner Standard with V30. That's what I'm using with My Ecstasy 101B and with my now sold Helios 100 and Bogner Eclipse. Best cab out there and I've own a few of the best.
@@blakemansfield2356 What V30 from Ownhammer? I own the whole Ownhammer library and I'm also using the Suhr RL
Were you using the loop master volume ?
what riff/song
is it at 7.15?
What speakers were used
What speakers ?

@@blakemansfield2356 I just got one of these yesterday ,,, trying differnt cabs/speakers. Thanks
