I picked up one of these recently, I'm super impressed. It doesn't have the low end a 50w or 100w does, and it's a bit noisy, but the tones are unreal. All three channels. And so versatile. It's so crisp and articulate, it's incredibly addicting to play. I love this amp.
I’m in the process of tone searching and I’ve been listening to a lot of Alice In Chains lately, read that Jerry Cantrell used an amp similar to this, along with a couple others on the Dirt album, and this definitely sounds like it’ll do a similar tone to what’s on that album. It’s like the perfect buttered up mix of a Marshall and a Mesa Boogie, and I’m here for it
I went with the 50 watt and no regrets. One thing this amp has that's awesome is the clean channel. Prettiest clean channel I've owned in an amp. It has an awesome breakup with the "boost" too. I would have bought it just for that. I'm not sure whether I like this better or my Helios Eclipse 100, but the clean channel on the Ecstasy is way better for sure.
I've looked and lusted over these modded Marshall tones so much but couldn't afford $2,000+ for an amp so I ended up getting a 6534+ Peavey USA head and it's awesome, it just doesn't have the chirpy fuzzy Marshall tone that my old 5150 combo had but I hooked my old Peavey Bravo combo that actually sounds just like this Eddie Van Halen tone your getting here so it's freaking amazing now!
I appreciate this demo as a novice rhythm player. Most guys just shred which gives me little to go on when picking a amp for rhythm guitar. Besides AIC!!! What's not to like. Well done Blake
Blake Mansfield I just love it!! Everywhere I want to go with it, it goes! Super versatile, yet simple to just plug in with any guitar and make it “happen”!... if you haven’t yet, plug in a Telecaster. I’m getting addicted to that!! Punchy, snarly, snotty and tight! So fun!!
Nice amp. If you are planning some more clips, it would be cool to hear it with some more mids as well. The range from 12 - 14 o'clock on the mids would have been cool to hear
Wow, what an amp. Perfect wattage, unbridled versatility, tones for days, and it's compact. Plus it looks gorgeous. One question though, how does it sound at bedroom volume with a 1x12? Also I don't know how but it does Diezel tones perfectly.
Sounds just phenomenal!!! Great riffing too... holy cow! What speaker(s) mic(s) were you using for this, if I may ask?? Thanks in advance!!!! Stellar stuff, man!
oh lord, you just started with a riff from Babasónicos from Argentina. I know you might not know them but it is cool how minds overlap. Lovely angry tones!
Love the channel. I’m deciding between the ecstasy 3534 and the gold finger sl. Since you have both, which do you prefer for hard rock/metalish sounds? Like tight, very saturated… any input helps
Hey thanks for sharing this. Do you still like and use this amp? Curious if you still suggest it. I’m about to grab one of these original 35w versions rather than the newer 50w for studio use.
Mine comes in next week. Been going back and forth between this and the helios 50. I hope i made the right decision...... This audio is the best on RUclips of this amp. Were you running a slight delay L to R, or doubling tracks with a predelay?
Update.... This amp is BAD ASS!!!! Love mine. I got the matching 1x12 also, and the hype is legit, it's a great match. Thanks, these videos helped me make an educated decision amidst a pandemic where trying out amps is a little tougher.
Blake Mansfield I am really thinking about buying vh2 but now after listening to this bogner samples, I am not so sure 😬could you maybe provide info, if vh2 can be set to sound as thick as bogner ? I would assume that it should be possible as vh2 has bigger transformers and more watts, but I am not sure, maybe it doesn’t matter in the end, if vh2’s compression and tightness makes the sound smaller in comparison to bogner... duh🤔 maybe you could make a video of vh2 to make it sound as big as bogner or even bigger ? that would help me a lot with my dillema ☺️👌🤟
For you who have played this amp before, is it good for fast lead playing like John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, or Vinnie Moore? Can it compete with the Mesa/Boogie Mark V or Triple Crown?
How does this amp sound at low volumes? Read a lot about the shiva’s master volume working really well to bring the volume down to bedroom levels. But there is no master volume on this guy, sounds great though
Very subjective. I mean only this amp will sound like this amp and if this sound is what you’re after, then it’s worth it. But yeah something like a dsl40 covers the same gain ranges. Just a matter of what floats your boat. Cheers
Yeah, just bought a 5150 III stealth and helix for one side. Now I'm going for the other side and was thinking this or a Revv. I want something kinda creamy sounding. I might just have to spring for it. I'll def. check the Oranges out now too now that you mentioned it. Thanx brutha!
This thing sounds like it’ll cut like a warm knife through butter. Thanks for the demos!
Francisco Alvarez Warm knife through butter...I like that

That sounds absolutely incredible. Great job 🙌
I have this amp. It’s the best amp I’ve ever owned. The Blue channel is epic

Thanks Blake for this X-Mas gift, really nice tones, can't wait the Santa to arrive ....
Tero Viitanen You’re very welcome, Tero!
can't believe bogner took this long to make a semi-portable version of the ecstasy that won't disappear because it's an "anniversary model"

Man this is the sound I’ve been looking for
I do have a lot of respect for this guy. I wouldn’t be able to plug in and not play leads.
Frank Schreuders lol
I appreciate this demo as a novice rhythm player. Most guys just shred which gives me little to go on when picking a amp for rhythm guitar. Besides AIC!!! What's not to like. Well done Blake
Mine arrives next Friday!!
Thanks for the great demos!!!
Scot Dvorak How’re you liking it?!
Blake Mansfield
I just love it!!

Scot Dvorak Yes! For some reason this amp pairs with a Tele like PB&J. Glad ya dig!
Blake Mansfield ❤️🤘🤙

Sounds great man n ur chops
Hafiz Wahab Thanks man!
Sounds incredible! Definitely want one

Thats it i'm saving up for this Amp ...Great demo bro! subbed
Never apologize for busting out “We Die Young!”
Thanks for the demo bro! Mine gets here Thursday.
Guitar Shredder Can’t wait to hear what you think of it
Blake Mansfield just came in and I’m totally blown away by this amp. Totally loving it.
Sounds great! Do you know what cab and speakers you were using by chance?
Why would you ever apologize for playing AIC? I'd watch ten demos of you only riffing AIC through this amp!
This is absolutely kick ass...Thanks bro'...
man, love this videos! keep them!
Aquiles Zaluar Will do
Sounds just phenomenal!!!
Great riffing too... holy cow!
What speaker(s) mic(s) were you using for this, if I may ask??
Thanks in advance!!!!
Stellar stuff, man!
Is playing We Die Young the equivalent of playing Stairway to Heaven in a music store? Why did Blake deem it taboo? Love the walk through of this amp.
Kick ass vids as always man ! 👍
Nikos Kamesas Thanks bro
oh lord, you just started with a riff from Babasónicos from Argentina. I know you might not know them but it is cool how minds overlap. Lovely angry tones!
Macmax7077 Thanks man!
Wish it had custom options for the panel and grille
Suchba killer amp! Great demo too. What was the recording setup?
Love the channel. I’m deciding between the ecstasy 3534 and the gold finger sl. Since you have both, which do you prefer for hard rock/metalish sounds? Like tight, very saturated… any input helps
Sounds great. EL34?
CIAmrx Correct
Sounds kinda like an Orange - in a good way
when I get my stimulus gonna score this...if I do?
HEARD A BIT OF NEW TOOL WOH YEH! Reach out!
Fandao19 Yep! Pneuma

Ahhhh! Here's the high gain video. Thanks. Listening...
very thick and chewy is what I hear, it sounds to my ears a bit more organic and not so tight compared to vh2 .. what’s your feel ?
Tomas Obester Bogners are always chewy and more open than Diezels. Diezels are much tighter and more compressed. 👍
You nailed it Tomas.

@@obestertomas Either one of those amps is fantastic.
Play us some boosted blue channel!
For you who have played this amp before, is it good for fast lead playing like John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, or Vinnie Moore?
Can it compete with the Mesa/Boogie Mark V or Triple Crown?
Blake
Please
Record and compare
The bogner 3534 with friedman jj junior! Please
Im torn between d two
Hafiz Wahab Send me a JJ!
Are you using the master volume in this video or attenuating the amp?
I recon this could do some late 90's Hetfield tones easily, is it too loud for the bedroom rocker?
Hey, was that a song during "intermission" or just a bluesy riff you came up with? Amp sounds great btw.
J Na just off the cuff
WE DIE YOUNG FUCK YEH!
is there will be any kemper profile of this?
hard to see this prodcut in china...but i'll buy one if it sale
Curious what excursion setting you're using. Is it Dark or Loose?
I notice the gain on the red channel is rarely above 10 o'clock. Will this amp do a real hot rodded marshall solo tone without farting out?
flinto2002 It’s not that it farts out above that level, it’s just so much gain for me at 10 that I didn’t need more. But to answer your question, yes
@@blakemansfield2356 thanks man!
Can it do thrash and modern metal or should I just get an Uberschall? I prefer the tone of this amp over the Friedman JJ Jr amp.
Yes it can do modern metal, as long as you’re not doing djent it’ll be fine
How does this amp sound at low volumes? Read a lot about the shiva’s master volume working really well to bring the volume down to bedroom levels. But there is no master volume on this guy, sounds great though
M. Imsure Pretty damn good at low volumes!
What Else ??? I now.... my Shiva to :-)
how much is this?
1995
Damn these are expensive! Is it really worth it or could you get something cheaper that sounds just as good?
Very subjective. I mean only this amp will sound like this amp and if this sound is what you’re after, then it’s worth it. But yeah something like a dsl40 covers the same gain ranges. Just a matter of what floats your boat. Cheers

dont like very much, but i think what the speaker doesnt a good choice . maybe another speaker is the real sound of this amp
Does this actually have a Plexi mode like the “full-size” Ecstasy?
No Plexi mode. Gain way down with boost on is a reallly nice tone though for that sort of thing though
Thanks!
Sounds less dynamic than the GF SL
