First check its fully wound and you are moving enough to keep it wound fully, your watch is technically in Seiko’s specification, but it would be best to have a watchmaker check the regulation - this can be done cheaply at any small watch repair shop. You can also check to see how to regulate the watch yourself but you’ll need a Timegrapher - I’ll post a video of this soon too.
Same price kamasu has saphire. How much does saphire glass cost extra over hardlex to the manufacturer? Extra 1 dollar? Extra 2 dollars? Ridiculous to not include saphire glass in 200 watch
The aftermarket part costs around $35-45USD depending on the part, of course for seiko it wouldn’t cost that much more to add sapphire themselves. The hardlex is clearer than sapphire, the only real downside is that it’s flat and will scratch. At $200 or under the seiko 5 sport is an excellent watch, with a few choice mods it’s even better!
@@svkwatches i stand by my statement that spahire glass cost maybe extra 1 ir 2 dollar for the manufacturer. They do not put them in so they could inflate their more expensive range prices by adding saphire as simething very costly
It means it’s not the made in Japan version, most of the seiko 5 sports are now made in China, Taiwan etc. any seiko reference ending with J is made in Japan. No real other difference.
For lowest price try Amazon, it will be the cheapest, the only physical store with a good range is “the watch house” in mall of the emirates or dubai mall for example
Take a look on www.namokimods.com/seikomodsdubai - the No Bevel Edge type is my personal favourite now but requires a sloped bezel insert too. Namoki have a good range of shapes though
Was my bait watch at the club and the strippers thought it was a green hulk from a distance-got some good action thanks to this watch.
Brilliant 🤣
Lmfao
After calibrate in timegrapher taking 2 to 3 hour it run 1sec fast in 24 hour, wonderful watch.

Can confirm, the day of the week is UV reactive on the "Canadian" English/french version as well

Srpd61 vs 63 which one looks better?
Ya also need to know about that which one looks better
Please, what is the accuracy of this clock, how many seconds per day?
The Seiko 4R36 is accurate to +/- 30s per day as standard, but, usually when I make watches and run tests, I see closer to +/- 10s in reality
@@svkwatches Thank you.

What watch strap is that
Great review! A bit harsh though.
Hi that’s genuine even the date and month is arabic and English?
Yes it’s a standard seiko watch, including the day/date in eng/arabic - made for the Middle East market
Orient mako III or this??
I’ll always go for this - just check the mod options for both, this can be made into a really premium feeling Watch, unlike the Mako.
Mine bought threw grey market has a screw down crown.
Must be modified in that case!
What does the K1 on the end mean? Ive seen it places without the K1.

The New Incredible Hulk?
I love how people complain about little useless stuff with a watch.
Deeply appreciate if you could tell me the best place for price to buy Seiko in Dubai.
