Been admiring the green Seiko 5 for a long time. I have an SKX013. I saw a green Seiko 5 in a Jewelry Shop in Cairns early in 23. The price was Au $575.00. On sale was a Pepsi Seiko 5 for Au$375.00 I enquired if I could have the green one for $375. They said no and they would not budge. Exactly the same thing happened at Prouds in Brisbane, however when I asked if I could have the green one instead , they said no problem, so I purchased it. I really like the green colour, I am enjoying wearing the watch.
I’ve just added this watch to my collection.brilliant watch and I’m happy to not have a screw down and I doubt if I’ll go more than 3 metres deep ever.
Actually it should turn quiet easily. But as long as it turns at all (properly) I don’t think it’s a problem. In fact I think it’s better having a „hard“ bezel action.
@ahmad zakiyatul: I would say both greens are pretty similar. Because of the height of the rehaut of the watch there is a lot of shadow on the dial of my Seiko 5 which makes it a pretty dark green. Hope that helps at least a little.
Hi. I would check the size before hand. The are to greens. one is just green and this one . I looked at this in jewellers this week and found it a bit small. I have a small wrist if that help
@Dan: For everyday wear I think that a black colored dial is more versatile. If you should already have a black dial watch I would definitely go for the green one
@@watchyouwant1617 Bought the black dial "Specialist" version of this watch with dark brown leather/silicone strap. More of an everyday watch that goes anywhere. Love it so far, looks great, loses 3 seconds a day, no big deal. The green version here was sold out at the Boxing Day sales here in Canada, otherwise I might have been tempted! It's a beauty.
@Mas Kris: unfortunately I’ve never experienced the Alpinist but by judging on pictures I’ve seen I would say that the greens are pretty similar. Maybe it’s a more yellowish tint on the Alpinist.

I feel worried for the watch from the way you handled it. I just got it yesterday, but had it changed to a mesh strep, which makes it even more old school.
@Hajer: the scratch resistance of the bracelet and case isn’t better or worse than the one of the Skx: it’s nothing to worry about (my Speedmaster scratches easier.. The crystal isn’t Sapphire and „just“ hardlex so theoretically a little bit more scratchy (than sapphire)

@김윤석: Thanks for your comment! The official retail price here is 279 EUR. I got mine for 224 EUR. If I were you I would also consider the Mini Turtle. You can get them used for around 210 EUR.
Bracelet links are NOT "solid", and are in fact formed and bent. What type of link adjustment does it have (for viewers; I know already). Try opening the clasp BEFORE you start the video next time then you WILL be able to put it on. Quit jumping around and lose the waving hands! Sorry, but got to down arrow this video!

Absolutely with 100m you can go swimming and diving up to 10m shouldn’t be a problem in my opinion
They defiantly look more expensive then they are! I got mine in a pepsi and just put a Strapcode Endmill bracelet on it and man it looks awesome...

Just got mine a day back and I noticed that the bezel is VERY hard to turn, compared to how easily you were rotating it. Is it an issue?

The thickness is no problem at all. It’s just as the Skx a very comfortable watch to wear.

I’ve sold it but as far as I remember it was pretty accurate. Approximately 5 seconds fast per day.

Since it’s a „K-Version“ this is not the case. Probably in Malaysia or Thailand. But it don’t think that they’re notable differences in quality.
