Blows me away. A guy who's spent his whole life becoming a master of his art and taking the time to 'fuck around with lights" for all of us to learn stuff from him for free. Im 24 years younger, playing for twenty and STILL learning. Thank you my friend

Its so nice that much of your bitterness is gone and whats left is your pure passion to instruct. Its a Barry Harris vibe. Pass the wisdom, instill the dedication. I admire you so much!

"I don't want to move." "I don't even want to go upstairs". Killed me! You're the best, Jimmy! Thanks for musical insight.

3 percent & "no one ever gets this far" & "nobody wants to do the work" is damn accurate. I cheated long enough but bought guitars instead. Finally sit down and do the things necessary, exactly as you say.

Great video … so much relate to everything you have said, especially I miss the days of can’t wait to get home from school to play my guitar. I truly wish you happiness and good health.

    Great lesson.
Yeah, I'm 65. Back into my guitar, studying jazz improvisation.
I don't play in a band, or out in public anymore. Maybe some day. Some local stuff/gigs maybe. But, screw traveling on the road. I spent 10 years on the road in a band, when I was younger.😂🤔

great video. The sound and lighting is better. Very cool to see all the arpeggios and other possibilities (thirds, fourths and other flavors) in just one of the fingerings. My fingers are "guessing right" more often. LOL. The more the five fingerings help me, the more I want to practice them. Hope you are feeling better.
