I hated the IVs Having to slowly push the meds into my vane. I had to do it for 9 weeks. Having a bone infection is NO fun. They tried to freak me out by telling me that at my age it could kill me... I just laughed at them. I told them that life has been trying to kill me since I was born. I've died 4 times and God just sends me right back.... So when I've completed the work God sent me to do, then I can leave this old world... By the way Heaven is a mighty cool place. BUT so is this world once I learned to embrace it and love being part of it.... Shut out the negatives and swim in the positives and love in the beauty of GOD'S handy work... You kids be blessed in Jesus name... BBE..

Stay strong...I'm an L1,2 paraplegic since I was 16 yrs old...I have chronic Osteomyelitis so I've been where you are and thru it all...I truly believe your mindset has so much to do with your healing...Keeping you in my prayers...

Your attitude made my day I'm T10 para who fell off my van ramp while carrying way too much stuff while moving house. Broken hip replaced with implant but wound has not healed in last 4.5 months. Just had wound surgically cleaned out and all fresh edges sewn together in hopes it will finally heal.Hard to go from active wheeler to bedridden in an instant of bad judgment, same IV etc etc.plus all the other not glamorous parts we both know. No reason I can't recover with time, but right now light at end of tunnel looks dim. Hearing your "just do what you gotta do and don't let go of your dream" gave me the mental kick in the pants I needed. Thanks for keeping it real for me!

I'm overjoyed you were able to leave the hospital and that you have a great guy to love and support you. Your body will react to your spirit and mood and I'm so glad you're in good spirits about everything.
PS I'm glad you're showing your real life. So many people are scared to even try or they're scared of the hard times. Y'all are showing hard things and times won't stop you and it doesn't have to stop anyone else. Mad props to y'all!
