Send pictures of the bent inner wells from multiple angles to cgc. They achknowledged on their forums a batch of bending wells went out and to my knowledge theyve been fixing it for people.
Thank you! Just saw a thread about this on the forum! Just emailed cgc with explanation and pictures! Sucks because I spent extra for Fast Track, now I'm going to have wait several more weeks!
That wolverine 1 looks like it has a spine roll. You can see the white from the back of the book on the front left of the book. Starting from the middle of the book. The white only grows as you go up the spine.
I have contacted and spoke with CGC, I will be sending 5 of the books back for mechanical error for the inner wells being warped.
With those corners that G. l. Joe is a 8.5.
CGC…keeping it consistently inconsistent. How they remain the benchmark is beyond me.
The defects can be on the interior pages. How come no one mentions that?
Do you document your comic inspection and packaging before sending it out? That way, you have proof of what your book had or didn’t have.
A great example of why, I think, CGC is a scam. They want your money!!
Spine on the Wolverine looks worn but there's more to grading than spine. Those are good grades.
After the grading fiasco, you know they are going to be brutal on grade accuracy because they can't have any more issues called out on them.
Looks like CGC went in for your favor more often than not. Looks like a good submission.

As for the ASM 252, it's a hair in between the book and inner well.
Cgc looked at my books and rejected the mechanical error!
Absolute disaster man!! You gotta try digital comics , these issues go away
The Wolverine 1 s usually have finger prints and scuffs on the back that bring the grade down a bit. Overall good submission!
Thank you!
You can definitely see the spine roll on the wolverine book
It's not a spine roll, it's a miswrap/miscut which does not generally effect the grade too much. It's a manufacturing error not a handling error.
Manufacturer crease affect it big time @@MakeRoomCollectibles

Grading is ruining the hobby
