Most came to us as adults already. They say Sri Lankan Stars naturally pyramid in the wild. If they were wild animals or raise from hatchlings with proper hydration, the Indian and Burmese would have smooth shells for sure. A slightly raised shell is not uncommon for tortoises in a captive environment.
