  • This episode introduces viewers to a rare, nearly extinct tortoise, the Burmese Star Tortoise. I also apologize for my infrequent uploads. I just want people to know that I am animal keeper first, my youtube channel is more of a hobby and a way to share my knowledge and experience with others. But, regardless of my frequency in posting, I can guarantee this video, like all of my others, has up to date, helpful information for new and intermediate keepers as will all future videos.

Thank you. I would say just wait until it is finished, but, I have a feeling, this will be an ongoing labor of love with not defined finish point.

I own a 2 y/o Burmese star tortoise and really appreciate your video! Thank you. I wish that I had a huge enclosed yard like you do.

Thank you. I didn't always have this yard but my goal was to retire to such a place solely for the benefit of my tortoises. Some of my tortoises spent 6 years inside for 360 days a year when I lived in Alaska. We do the best we can with what is available and simulate the rest to the highest of our capabilities.

Thank you Brenda. Yes like I said, pet care comes first, RUclips, though very fun, is a distant 4th or 5th. That is also why you will see my responses come in waves like my videos ;-)
