Bless you for making this, tried running the first mission in this ship with only two people last night and we never had a chance. Lots of mechanics that the in-game tutorial didn't really seem to go over
Thanks! We're about to try taking this ship out with a full crew and this is super useful. I noticed trim even out of the engineering level near the bow of the ship next to the gunners?
Thanks for the guide 🙌🏼 New player here started last night with two friends, umm we didn’t turn the thrusters on because we didn’t know about them or the buff switch so thanks for that! I was just wondering how do we scan things? (Ships ect in space)
Good question. Yes! You can fabricate power generators to increase system max and also run 1 system over if you are diligent with maintaining the breakers.
whats annoying about tryna look into these youtube videos to find my answer is weather or not u can play it primarily solo without needing crew mates and ships that require at least 2 or more people. like i hear people talking about the ship u get right at the get go from the tutorial or whatever but not one person explains if u can play solo, if that space craft is a 1 person controlled ship or what.
Unfortunately, it’s not explained well but this game can barely be played solo. Trying to solo is an unnecessary flex. You need at least two to start sort of comfortably. On their Discord, we asked for simple auto pilot functionality. The Discord is a great place to find people to play with.
thanks for the info. i do think that they shouldve at least thought to make solo ships for people to keep an eye on. even if it meant having like 1 turret to use for defense and an extremely small ship i think wouldve been fine as a start for solo's.@@CaptnBarbosa
@unboxing_legend7708 the only thing is it’s Void “Crew” and they want you to play with a crew. It’s a very niche genre kind of aimed at Star Trek fans. I definitely think they need to emphasize it’s not single player
na i dont think they do at all. the word crew could mean anything in a multiplayer sense. it could mean that some ships or missions u do come with some AI in which assist in repairs for the ships, it could mean to play it with others but i mean it can still have solo aspects and it could mean a bunch of other things within the game. its like saying star field would include some exploration of stars and suns and freely exploring the galaxy like you can in no mans sky but u basically dont. theres basically no reason to fly aircraft in starfield when the game is meant to be centered around that sort of area. the name doesnt have to imply that u have to play the game that way, there can be conflicting aspects within the game to gain more traction and a player base. take another for example, minecraft. i decide to play that game but i leave out the mining aspects of the game and go straight into just building in creative mode. im not mining or crafting. yet its not centered around that like it used to be anymore. its centered around the exploration and discovery aspects of the game instead now and their famous quote from like 2012 on an old trailer they made.@@CaptnBarbosa
@@unboxing_legend7708 fair enough - It's an intention here by the devs, I believe. It just doesn't have an apparent "Don't think you're going to solo this game" label. With that said, join their discord. I always find a crew to play with there. As a new game, especially in early access, everyone's been nice, helpful, and accommodating. It's not a PVP game so toxicity will probably take WAY longer to settle in

I’m glad I was able to help you and your team get flying. It’s a tough game at first but some familiarity goes a long way 🫡
This video has big ship salesman gives you a tour feel
Just trying not to sound boring. Funny how emitting energy just sounds like a swindling salesman lol Thanks for stopping by
@@CaptnBarbosarofl, loved your video man, simply explained but also keeping it real smooth and quick 👍
Incredibly well taught. 10/10
I appreciate the kind words!
Great tutorial! You should make more of these 👍
Thank you! I plan on it! I appreciate the encouragement

You are very welcome!
This is great! I want to play!
You should!
Thanks for the guide 🙌🏼

You just fly as close as possible to them 😄then the question mark goes away
@@CaptnBarbosa Thanks
@@ThisIsMarkLar happy to help
Your pilot can also manually scan them by putting the cursor over them and hold right-click once you get about 3km or so out
Seriously, thank you.
You are seriously welcome. I have more coming in the New Year that you can share with your friends if you want them to learn a role.
this reminds me of Sea of Thievs but in space
You’re not wrong. I was going to make a comparison video on why to play. It’s like Sea of Thieves meets Faster Than Light
I'll have to wait till next week but i already have it in my wish list

Can you run more than 8 systems?
